Gehorige kamer met een vloer die niet waterpas was. Losse kranen voor warm en koud water (lastig). Geen lift. Ontbijt begon te laat en om 8 uur 's ochtends was er niemand bij de receptie om uit te checken.

Staff were very helpful, breakfasts were good & plentiful.

On1st night very noisy band was playing & smokers were outside making a racket! till late. The hotel was not full & 2 of our party who were sharing a twin room were not happy as the room was very small & there was a climb of 55 steps to get up there.

Breakfast location!Not at all up to Standard of other dining areas. Why not the choice of having breakfast in the dining room or conservatory dining area We had a superior room overlooking the bay.....Don't expect review would have been as good if in other areas of hotel.

The room had two single beds instead of a double which I thought I'd booked. Also the decor was very outdated and tired.

We did not get the room we had booked. It should have been a superior and we only got a standard double. No proper apology. They said that they did not get the information from Booking.com about what room had been booked, and whther we wanted double or twin beds, which i find hard to believe. And they said the superior room would have cost £100 not £85, so that was a mistake on the website. The room we got was OK, but noisy at night when people left the bar.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely views of Port Erin Harbour Handsome historic building. Friendly bars with mixture of travelers and locals.

Not warm enough for the elderly all the time. Breakfast sometimes cool. Not enough choice of menu and more small meal options would be good. No lift and a startling step down to the basement ladies loo.

It was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel now deserves more than 2 stars. A lot of money and TLC has been invested in it. There is parking across the street in the hotel carpark and the room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet was better than many 3 or 4 star hotels I've been to, and they provide a separate knife for the butter, which is becoming increasingly rare these days. Only ate in the hotel 1 night, and whilst the food wasn't gourmet standard, it was plentiful and cooked appropriately (which in the case of the vegetables, meant not over-cooked). All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

The staff were amazing so friendly and helpfull will stay there again.

No lift so it was difficult with the luggage going upstairs..

I have stayed there many times and it suits me.

Unfortunately the central heating system was out of order, resulting in cold rooms

The food was good, the accommodation adequate and clean. The bar was in a good position over looking the bay.

The room was cold especially in the morning there wasnt any heating on. The shower wasnt very powerful. There was a wedding party in the bar on the Saturday night which were very noisy, we couldnt sleep until it stopped just after 2am in the morning. Our room was almost above the bar, I think a window was open in the bar for the noise to be heard so loud in our room

The staff were fantastic, very obliging and so friendly, especially Michelle on reception, she did her job excellently.

Just one thing, we were on the top floor and there's no lift, a bit inconvenient when you've had a few drinks and wearing high heels!

Excellent location, good people, good food, and handy for shops and transport, the hotel is by the beach and in the center of town.

It is a Victorian era building and is showing it age, but it is comfortable even though it is rustic.

Nice budget-friendly meals. I subsequently brought 16 friends round for an evening celebration one week after my stay.

The awkward pavement outside then the narrow stairs and long draughty corridors within the hotel. It's very difficult getting a heavy suitcase from the car park to Reception and then up to a room which overlooks the car park. On both my visits (my previous one was in December 2011, when I was allocated the same room as this time!), no assistance was offered by staff.

Staff were all friendly and the food was good quality and at a reasonable price, on the whole we had a relaxing break.

The room we had was a little tired and could have done with a make over. The central heating was not working (boiler problem) when I had a word with reception the soon brought a portable heater and were apologetic. These things happen and it had effect on our holiday.
