The staff were all genuinely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts and evening meals were ample, delicious, and catered well for us vegetarians. Our room, and the hotel as a whole, were scrupulously clean. The leisure club was also immaculate. We were very impressed, we hope to go back to the Falmouth Beach Hotel again and would like to try other Best Western Hotels. The decor in our room (a standard double) was a little dated (but in good condition) and the mattress was a bit soft and springy for us!

This being our third visit we knew what to expect, however that did not detract from the pleasure of the excellent service and food - and also being able to take advantage of my 'reward' card to obtain an upgrade.

The gym and pool were excellent and understandably quite busy. The room was excellent-with a balcony and superb view of Falmouth bay. The staff -friendly and competent. The use of heated buffet for both the carvery and breakfast; it essentially ruined good basic materials by overheating and drying it out. The joints on the carvery had been reduced to leathery lumps even before the first slice had been cut while the fried eggs and bacon in the morning were dried through and, again, leathery. This is not unique to this hotel but inevitable when using the hot buffet system. It may reduce labour costs but inevitably ruins the great institution of the British breakfast. Surely a hotel with any pretention towards good cooking can afford to have enough staff to cook breakfast as and when ordered, rather than wasting good food.

The moment we stepped into the hotel we were greeted very warmly. We arrived at the room which was on the 4th floor and we though oh dear but when we walked into the room the 4th floor was the best place to be as we had a view overlooking the beach. It was stunning. The staff in the hotel were so friendly and conldn't do enough for you. We ate in the Feathers Bar and the food was lovely. During the night I was awake and it was lovely to hear the sea lapping on the shore. We were also surprised to how quiet the road was. Hardly any traffic at all. This is not a complaint but the room was very hot as we were up in the eaves and some air con would have been good. Even with the bathroom skylight open we did not get much of a through breeze. But is certainly did not spoil the night. In fact being awake in the middle of the night and listening to the sea lapping on the shore it was very theraputic. We were surprised how quiet the road was. No complaints but as the room as up in the eaves it was hot. Air con would be good for that room.

Its location adjacent to the beach was fantastic. Cleanliness of bedding / beds to soft. Hotel looking tired and in need of refurbishment Showers in both rooms not working Owing to time of year like staying in a residential home with the number of rude and arrogant old people

The location was perfect for the beach. The Walls were very thin on the 4th floor so the people in ajoining rooms could be heard. We were also disturbed by the music from the function room.

Location, leisure facilities, parking. Practical. A bit tired and shabby. In need of refurbishment. Beds uncortable and rooms not clean to 4 star hotel. Your website indicated it was 4 star but in actual fact it is designated as 3 star.
