Room was a chalet seperate to the hotel which we really liked, would ask to stay in one if booking again. The pool and gym facilities were excellent. Parking was very difficullt (although there was a wedding on at the time of our stay). The decor of the hotel was very old fashioned - it definately needs updating. The restaurant was a bit fuddy duddy too, so we went next door to the St Michaels hotel and had a great meal in super contemporary surroundings. |

The hotel is comfortable and the food is of a reasonable standard. The pool and associated facilities are very good. The rooms are a little dated. |

Friendly atmosphere, the hotel was easy to find and well-located on the sea-front. It was also only a very short walk from the main town centre The room was very hot and it was not possible to open the window because of the security chain. |

The room was too small and hot for comfort. The receptionist checked me out and gave me the invoice. However, a day later the hotel called me and all but accused me of leaving without paying. The receptionist, on check out, told me I was good to leave. This was not good as I booked the hotel by credit card and understandably assumed they had taken the fee by credit card. |

My only point of concern is that I believed that I would be charged the full amount of £90 by yourselves, I was then charged £45 by the hotel I am currently unsure if I have payed you £90 or £45. This is not clear at the time of booking. |

the pool area was good and much enjoyed by the children. Staff were very friendly. It didnt take advantage of the views in the bar area and ground floor areas generally. Also bar area seemed very bitty, no areas to congregate around ie. fireplaces!! |

The food and the decor. Bathroom could have been cleaner, the shower mat had mould on it and room looked worn |

The view The room was dirty even the bed linen was black in parts and the headboard covered with dust. Reception staff not welcoming and did not advise where things were they didnt want to know. Food was cold and service in restaurant very bad staff in all departments had no interest at all. Was never offered a wine list with dinner and even had to ask for water |

location, cleanliness, friendliness of staff, the swimming pool, etc was lovely our 'double' room was clearly two single beds pushed together, which didnt make for the best nights sleep ever |

The view from our room The indifferent manner of the reception staff upon arrival. Nobody smiled or welcomed us and they seemed board and uninterested in their job. |

This was my second stay and a much better experience. The room was a lot larger. Would recommend taking swim wear and gym clothes as use of pool & gym is free when staying at the hotel. Wouldn't normally stay in a "chained" hotel, but the location of this hotel is amazing. |

Its proximity to the beach and easy access to the town centre. Breakfast service fell short of expectations. Refreshment of the hot dishes was slow and fried eggs were often over-cooked. Bacon was thick and chewy. Our favourite tea, darjeeling wasn't available. Finding a hotel parking place was very difficult |

Can't really say - arrived midnight and was up and away by 0800 Hrs next morning, without breakfast! (Didn't have time). I have stayed there before though, so that's as good a recommendation as it could get, i suppose |
