The food and main hotel were excellent with friendly helpful staff. Beautiful grounds and surroundings. The courtyard rooms were small and crowded and there was no lift for the upper floors |

We attended a Wedding that was being held there. Tower room was lovely we were given a free upgrade but did not like the open plan of the toilet into the room. |

The grounds are beautiful and the perfect setting for a wedding we were attending at Fanhams Hall We had to use another of the guest's room to change in and was severely disappointed when we checked in to ours; it was not the same and not even on a par with a premier inn. Bathrooms very dated. Even at a discounted wedding rate the rooms are extremely overpriced |

It was quiet and the staff were helpful. If the weather had been better the setting would have been lovely the tap in the bathroom was broken and water would not run away. I requested a disabled room but was not given one therefore I was unable to use the shower. |

I attended a wedding there and the main building was lovely, the staff were helpful and polite. I think that I must have stayed in one on the non re-furbished rooms and it was like taking a step back in time. Room dingy and uncomfortable not the cleanest, I would have rather stayed in a travelodge. At £70 per night I would have expected a lot more. |

No Restaurant available for dinner and bar menu very limited. Had to pre-order breakfast for room service. If this lack of facility had been made known at time of booking I would have stayed elsewhere. The gym has no showers. |

The grounds and the main building The "courtyard" room was tiny and dingy like bad student bedsit.. You would be so much better with a travelodge. The staff seemed to have no time for me at all and were more concerned with a wedding that was being held. The party that was going on took over all parts of the building and was very noisy when they were coming back to their rooms drunk. Not what I expected at all. Avoid! |

Fanhams Hall is a beautiful hotel and the staff all seemed great. The room however was so below standard I was really shocked. At £95 per night it was more like student digs than a hotel room. Extremely dissapointing. |

The grounds were fantastic, beautiful views. the rooms were of a very poor standard, putiing in mind of a butlins style bedroom not overly clean and in need of updating! |

We were at a wedding and the reception was handled wonderfully by the hotel I felt the rooms were a little basic for the price of £95 |

Nice clean room, comfortable bed and a reasonable breakfast Majority of staff very good except for reception when we arrived and asked if we could buy a drink with friends - was told - only if the wedding party were not in the bar. As it was we were able to go into the bar. As it is a reputable hotel we were surprised to be told we could not buy a drink in the hotel. |
