Breakfast was very good

Bed could have been larger and it was not very comfy

loved the modern bathroom food atmosphere. Loved the size of the room. the location is actually in Leyland not Preston so was great as all my family lived in Leyland so that worked out great. Great supply of toiletries. Staff was amazing if we needed ice cutlery anything they were right on it. I loved the fact they let me view the room before I agreed to stay there. I felt they appreciated my custom

At the lodge carpets really needed updating room 25 the plumping needed attention shower was very very small and did not drain very well, as well as the sink but it was very modern. Did report an was told it would be fixed Two days later came back and stayed in room 28 and no issues with the drainage system

First impressions brilliant until we opened the door and went in.......

Shower unable to turn on, then when Manager managed to turn on with some force shower fine if you like luke warm water, shower cubicle not clean, was offered to change rooms - when shown room was even in a poorer condition so stayed where we were. Morning shower very cool water. Furniture in lounge grubby, decor dark, poor lighting summary 'tired old lady'. Advised when when leaving maybe a problem with the shower cartridge!!!!! Do they not carry out an inventory before occupancy?

Friendly staff, very accomodating. Nice dinner. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast.

Shame there are no on-site spa facilities.

Being moved to a quieter room after twice complaining about the noise. The good breakfast

Being given a room above the main entrance and listening to party revellers drinking and smoking on the doorstep, the sound of doors banging constantly and clearly hearing the voices of anyone who went past my room. The hot water for the shower could not be adjusted to cool it down and resulted in me having to have a very hot shower as I needed to wash my hair. I am 5ft 5in and had to stand on tiptoe to reach the 'adjustable' shower head.

The first room was cold with a dirty bathroom a travel lodge etc would have been cheaper and cleaner

Spacious, well decorated, grand, comfortable, good price.

Lights blaring in my window at night from building lights. I had to shut my blinds as well as the curtains. If I had known about it when I went to bed I would have taken these measures earlier before I settled down.

The building itself, the atmosphere, the decor, the gardens, the many public rooms and bars, the friendly staff and the comprehensive room service.

We attended a wedding and the overall service was excellent. Our room was of a high standard and teh facilities we used were also good. The staff were helpful, friendly and provided an excellent service whatever service it was that they were offering.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. the rooms were warm and comfortable.

The big disappointment was the extensive construction works surrounding the site leaving a small garden with lots of construction noise.

For the price we paid I expected alot more. Especially regarding the cleanliness which we found not so very good. There was mould in the shower a ground on the tiles was really dirty. The duvet co we looked very old and was actually torn in one of the corners and it wasn't a new tear so this had been used by the looks of it for quite a while. Although the staff were friendly I woudnt recommend staying there for the price you charge as I seriously have stayed in premier inns at a fraction of the price!

Good location, just far enough away to be peaceful, in what will be a very built up residential area. Rooms were good, well appointed and clean. Staff were helpful.

Maintenance in the rooms poor. Sink and Bath plugs not adjusted correctly. Bulb gone in one lamp. Tiny shower cubicle with fixed height shower head. No seating provided in the gardens. Restaurant food poorly cooked - would not have the steak again. At breakfast, muffins defrosted in the microwave and so became inedible. Buying cheap to keep up profits does not work.

The room was much too far away from Reception. Also too many steps. The room itself in the new extention was not much higher spec than a standard Travelodge room (I have stayed in many types of hotel) - vary basic, and very dark (the window is not big enough for the room). Our room was Executive Suite, but a big disappointment.

It was clean and beautiful. the hotel was amazing and was there for a wedding. the bathrooms are huge and the suites comfortable, the view amazing . highly recommended.

Good food, clean.

Room too hot. Unable to open windows or turn off the radiator. Noise of other room's showers toilets etc.
