very friendly staff lovely breakfast
Very helpful staff and well maintained rooms. Good breakfast.
Need to provide fans as no air conditioning.
I liked the atmosphere of old english house and lovely gardens in secluded setting.
The shower needed updating.
Bedroom lighting. There wasn't any!
Staff were very helpful even when I arrived late in the eveing
The radio on at breakfast - though I appreciate it is useful for travel news in the area
Peace and quiet, the grounds and location was lovely
The breakfast could be better, and needed more choices for dinner
Needed more staff in the breakfast area
Banging water pipes. Next rooms TV The dining room AC fridge plant Smell of cooking into our room
Lovely setting, friendly staff.
The toilet was dirty, I doubt it had seen bleach ever! The shower pointed back at the wall and could not be adjusted. There was no full length mirror in the bedroom. The whole hotel needs updating.
Breakfast finishing at 9am
The location. But the drive needs more passing places !
Room 15 is a very bad fire escape risk. It is at the top of several flights of narrow and steep stairs. On a hot night it is airless even with open windows. We borrowed a fan from our son since the hotel could not provide one. We had a vey uncomfortable night.
Setting was excellent Quiet Accommodation good Reception and bar staff very friendly Lovely gardens
Breakfast was not a good experience. Tables were not cleared and reset. Those tables that were laid looked as if they were expecting a bus trip. No hot toast available and short supply of coffee and no staff about to ask for more.
Very pleasantly surprised to find such a lovely old building with comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts and a beautiful setting. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my gluten and dairy free requests. Would definitely return here.
The hotel could do with renovating and it's looking a bit grubby in places.
Pleasant and Friendly environment, nice location we would recommend this hotel.
The grounds are beautiful and are a lovely welcome to the hotel. The staff, especially Archie the night porter, were fabulous and couldn't do more for us! The food was adequate.
The room was far too hot to sleep! A fan would have been a welcome addition.
Nice looking hotel, Night Porter Archie very helpful.
Water pipes in room were unbelievably noisy - could not get the shower temprature right. Rooms could do with makeover,
Staff preoccupied by wedding, everything seemed to be difficult. Room number 10 suffered from plumbing noises all night which disturbed sleep.
The rooms are always good, clean and comfortable. Been lucky enough to stay in the bridal suite a couple of times and is excellent with the jacuzzi bath. lovely place to stay.
unfortunately the last time we stayed (our Anniversary) the Hotel was in administration wasn't mentioned at the booking or when we checked in. The food menu was very basic, give on a piece of paper, and overpriced for what was on there. would have gone to local pub if known before hand and not had a drink.
Quiet location. Good walking area.
everything location staff were helpful and very friendly building and gardens are lovely breakfasts were excellent as was the one evening meal we had
I would warn guests arriving from the Coxbridge roundabout/ Farnham direction that no matter how clearly you signal that you are turning right that there is always an idiot coming up behind you fast
Thin pillows, flat, heavy duvet, broken curtain, tired and dated furnishings, un attentive staff, having to ask for breakfast to be replenished, waiting for toast that came three slices at a time, twiglets!!!
The fact it had a bed.
Breakfast. It was a messy buffet. I wouldnt recommend it. It was disappointing and encouraged me to check out at a faster rate!
Room next to gravel carpark.staff noisy.45 minutes wait for a meal when I was the only one in the restaurant.
It was reasonably price. However more than it should have been. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was close to a wedding i was attending
The bedroom had some insects in it. The shower curtain was dirty. The bathroom was mouldy. The hall way had a damp mould smell (being an old building, it is understandable).
