A charming hotel with comfortable bedrooms, free parking, and modern facilities in a superb peaceful yet convenient location. A unique country house hotel set in over 5 acres of beautiful landscape grounds with a tennis court for a relaxing break. The hotel provides air conditioned rooms for business meetings and conferences with good on-site free parking and the opportunity of having the hotel on an exclusive use basis and thus being dedicated to a company's needs. With its superb setting, a civil marriage license and a delightful function room, the Farnham House is the ideal wedding venue. The hotel is situated just outside the picturesque Georgian center with its renowned castle street and many surrounding attractions including Birdworld. The staff were very friendly & I liked the overall decor of the hotel. I enjoyed watching tv as well as it had a wide choice of channels & the shower was nice & hot. Very clean as well. At breakfast, there were two containers for the hot food ie; Bacon sausage mushrooms etc. However there was nowhere to rest the lids when you had a plate in one hand. While you served yourself. Was a bit awkward.

Hotel situation was superb. Recption gave as good an introduction to our selves as though we were regular clients. We were sorry we had to leave at short notice and I belive we shall hope to stay again at a future date.

Lovely location and well situated away from the main road Nice grounds with good parking facilities. Period decor could do with a facelift. Toilet seat was broken in the en suite and remained so during our two night stay. Breakfast was disorganised and very strict on timing. In fact some guests who came for breakfast five minutes before closure (8.55 am) were told to hurry up and order because the kitchen were very strict and would close at 9.00am prompt!!

Dive up to the front of the hotel Service, was poor in general.The room had a musty oder. The coffee in the morning was cool and not very nice I threw most of it away. I would not stay again despite the place its great

We had a very spacious room with a balcony overlooking extensive gardens. The room price ,at £69 for the night was very reasonable for the area. Breakfast was extensive and served by very friendly staff. An excellent experience. I marked the comfort box as only fair because the room had a 4' 6" bed which really isn't big enough for comfort.

“We were made to feel very welcome and the proprietor went out of his way to ensure that our stay was a pleasant one. Due to a visit to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, our party decided that they watned to leave quite early in the mnorning and so they would miss breakfast. But at short notice the hotel arranged for a packaged continental breakfast to be put in our rooms so we could have something before we left. No extra charge was made for this.
