This Hotel seriously needs around 300k investment for new carpets everywhere, new mattresses, fix serious mould issues, noise from between floor levels bad as floorboards all need replacing and sound proofing required, no sign of room being pre-cleaned prior to my arrival,

The hotel is very rundown as it is closing in December and being knocked down, so I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, the bar is very small with very old leather settees, the staff just don't seem to care as they are loosing their jobs in December, meals options are very limited, and my partner had a chicken burger and it gave him severe dioreaha

Lovely rural spot.
Lovely rural spot. Local pub was great, Paul (the boss) couldn't do more. Reserved a table for us and organised a cake and a mojita for our daughter's graduation evening. The South African street food was delicious.

We booked in to the Stable Cottage which didn't come up to our expectations. We spoke to Jenny about it and she said Weavers Retreat had just come available, and she would get it ready for us if we wished. We moved in that evening and had four nights of four star
relaxation. It was a new two bedroom apartment with a large comfortable sitting room and two en-suite bathrooms. We were well looked after and we would recommend this place to anyone.
Jeff Joyce and Karen.
This is a good place to stay if you want to be right out in the countryside. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were all most helpful, and very friendly. At breakfast time our tea, coffee and toast were all lovely and hot, and promptly served. (We didn't want a cooked breakfast) There was plenty of free parking right outside the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, including the seals around the sink and bath (often missed in hotels). Set in beautiful grounds which were great for taking the dog for a walk as this is a dog friendly hotel.
I had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on what this was like.
The location is perfect for proximity to Silverstone and the guy who seemed to do all the jobs at the hotel (including serving a very nice cooked breakfast) was extremely nice and helpful, unfortunately he was let down by the actual building.
Excellent stay and value for money, the hotel is on a golf course which has been closed since March. So much potential here for the future. Rooms dated but clean and had absolutely everything we need. Staff friendly and food really good.
The staff at the hotel were fantastic very helpful and went out of their way to help with every request we made and catered for our daughter who is Coeliac with no issues at all can highly recommend.
Room clean, if a little dated. I understand the hotel is only open until the end of August (golf course is shut down already) but if you want a cheap and cheerful place to spend the night this is it.
Great stay. Hotel staff were very helpful. Food we had there was great too. And exceptional value for money. Had the best weekend down in farthingstone and the stay at the hotel made it even better
Hotel have potential but need more staff and lot of money spent on decorating. Staff I met was lovely it is not there fault that they have to do 4 jobs at ones.
