Really friendly staff who couldn't do too much. Interesting menu and good pub food Comfy rooms in old quirky setting.

Nothing stands out but if I were to be picky - marmalade at breakfast would be good and perhaps another real ale in the bar

We visited for the weekend for our friends wedding. Conveniently the church was across the road and the reception venue 1/2 mile down the road. Ideal! Friendly staff only too happy to help with any requests. Bar stayed open late on the sat night so guests could have a sociable night cap on their return from the wedding reception. Perfect way to cap off a fantastic evening.

Coxwold is a lovely little manor village and the inn is historic. Of course with very old, you get a few quirks but we loved staying here. The room was very clean and the staff is wonderful. The food in the pub was good and so is the local beer.

There wasn't anything that I disliked.

Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially one of the waiters who helped us out with a bus timetable but all of the staff were good. The bar had a good atmosphere and we had a very relaxing stay.

We felt that the room was a little on the small side and there was no chair to sit on but when we asked it was sorted out quickly. We also had to ask for our tea and milk to be replenished as no-one had been in to service the room .

We had three rooms all of which were lovely. The breakfast was really good.

In the ?Pinktonponds room there is no full length mirror which meant getting ready for a wedding was a bit difficult, it would be great to have a full length mirror near a plug point.

Lovely clean rooms, relaxed bar and good food.

Normal breakfast times far to late for people who have to get to work (9.00 to 10.30) but staff excellent and accomodated a much earlier breakfast.

The bar area was nice and cosy with a woodburner lit when we were there. Excellent location- surrounded by beautiful countryside but only a short drive to market towns and attractions.

There was no door separating the bar area from the guest bedrooms which meant noise travelled up the stairs. Our bedroom was at the front of the property directly above the door to the pub which banged whenever someone opened the door. There was some noise from the road outside. Luckily we had packed ear plugs. Although we did stay at this B&B over a bank holiday weekend, we did not feel the standard double room which we stayed in was worth £110 per night.
