Lovely staff and atmosphere.Pretty room, comfy bed,fab location.Just a bit noisy at night with a door by the bar banging underneath my room.Great breakfast too.
The efficiency but so warm and friendly that one felt very much at home immediately. We were very sorry to leave and will certainly be back.
The atmosphere, the view from the window, the comfy bed, the good breakfast, cheery staff, old inn full of character. Great!
Friendly, relaxed, efficient, can do attitude. Concern for us. Ming Ming the cat.
Really friendly staff who couldn't do too much. Interesting menu and good pub food Comfy rooms in old quirky setting.
Nothing stands out but if I were to be picky - marmalade at breakfast would be good and perhaps another real ale in the bar
We visited for the weekend for our friends wedding. Conveniently the church was across the road and the reception venue 1/2 mile down the road. Ideal! Friendly staff only too happy to help with any requests. Bar stayed open late on the sat night so guests could have a sociable night cap on their return from the wedding reception. Perfect way to cap off a fantastic evening.
We stayed here on our wedding night and were made to feel incredibly special. We would definitely recommend!
Friendly, engaging staff, great food (including smaller portion option!) and wine. Also pleased to try a Yorkshire gin!
The Drama night, great acting and good fun! Staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Great food and service.
We were made to feel very welcome by the owners who were both great hosts. Great food & an extensive wine cellar made for a very enjoyable stay. Will certainly be returning
Fantastically Staff - We booked loads of rooms during our wedding. They could not have done more to accomodate us during our stay (despite our best efforts to make it complicated). Great pub, lovely food, Beautiful village. Thoroughly recomended
Pleasant helpful staff, excellent breakfasts and lovely village.
Noise from refrigeration unit to rear of accommodation.
Friendly; Very good restaurant on hand; Delightful village.
The first room we were shown was unsuitable but quickly remedied without a fuss.
A lovely country pub. Great atmosphere with helpful friendly staff. Breakfasts were substantial and excellent. Evening meals good too as well as the fact that the beer is good . Thos was our second visit in about twelve months and will return soon
Very nice genuine place. Helpful staff.
Small room with a terrible carpet in the toilet and shower room.
Coxwold is a lovely little manor village and the inn is historic. Of course with very old, you get a few quirks but we loved staying here. The room was very clean and the staff is wonderful. The food in the pub was good and so is the local beer.
There wasn't anything that I disliked.
The homemade food was delicious. All staff were polite and helped in any way possible. Beds were comfy room was immaculate.
The rooms had everything we needed and the heating was on 24/7 which was good because it was a chilly weekend, the bed was extremely comfortable and clean, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very nice a good choice.
All in all no complaints, would stay again.
Extremely friendly and accomodating staff Excellent location Excellent breakfast
Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially one of the waiters who helped us out with a bus timetable but all of the staff were good. The bar had a good atmosphere and we had a very relaxing stay.
We felt that the room was a little on the small side and there was no chair to sit on but when we asked it was sorted out quickly. We also had to ask for our tea and milk to be replenished as no-one had been in to service the room .
Good friendly atmosphere in both bar/restaurant. Typical country village pub, busy but still very relaxing. Well presented food.
We had three rooms all of which were lovely. The breakfast was really good.
In the ?Pinktonponds room there is no full length mirror which meant getting ready for a wedding was a bit difficult, it would be great to have a full length mirror near a plug point.
Lovely clean rooms, relaxed bar and good food.
Normal breakfast times far to late for people who have to get to work (9.00 to 10.30) but staff excellent and accomodated a much earlier breakfast.
Good half way stop over while traveling to Scotland from London. Good food & very helpful staff.
Bed mattress not the most comfortable.
The bar area was nice and cosy with a woodburner lit when we were there. Excellent location- surrounded by beautiful countryside but only a short drive to market towns and attractions.
There was no door separating the bar area from the guest bedrooms which meant noise travelled up the stairs. Our bedroom was at the front of the property directly above the door to the pub which banged whenever someone opened the door. There was some noise from the road outside. Luckily we had packed ear plugs. Although we did stay at this B&B over a bank holiday weekend, we did not feel the standard double room which we stayed in was worth £110 per night.
