You cannot get more for this price in London. OK location (zone 2), 5 min walking from Mile End tube station (from there you are in the city center in 10 min).
We found hair on the bed linen, the heater was not working properly and it was pretty cold in the room. The room was a bit smelly. Old furnitures. A clearer and larger sign on the door of the BB would be helpful to find the place.
Our room had broken window and it was freezing cold inside. When I talked about it with the owner he said "its impossible that its cold in your room" and got back to watching TV! After 4 nights we left the place sick! Breakfast was awful - made of cheapest ingredients and the same for every day. Kitchen is closed after 9pm. Ugly moisture in the walls and in the air. Never again!
price location clean rooms not smelling of anything,
general repair of the property was not 100% up to regulation, but in saying that it was functional.
The location is not bad. It is in zone 2.
I didn't like the owner. I didn't like the bathroom upstairs. I didn't like the HAIRS I FOUND IN THE BED!! Oh my god they do not change the sheets from one guest to the next. I saw the owner making the bed after people left the room without changing them for new guests!! TERRIBLE. Totally a rip off paying 44 pounds. Fair price would be 10 pounds or even less.
strong Wifi signal good location - five minutes from Mile End the stuff was polite
room seemed clean but it wasnt (I found somebody others hair in my bed) very very very uncomfortable bed poor breakfast (toast bread, jam, ham, cheese) the bathroom and toilet was very derelict
Was a very friendly family and nice and easy to access all the major tourist spots. They were very accommodating and great value for money.
the rest of everything
Very nice people Good price
Noisy neighbors Creaky doors to room and bathroom
It was fairly convenient for our plans. Liked the female owner. Wifi was good.
Didn't like the smell, the beds, the food, cramped quarters, the male owner, no hand soap in bathroom, no common area, and misrepresentation of the amenities with room.
The location was perfect only 20 minutes walking distance from the metro (main lines). Area was quite during night time Good wi-fi
Breakfast was really basic Bathroom facilities could be improved
We can recommend everybody to stay in FCT Bed and Breakfast because of good location (near 3 tube lines), sufficient breakfast, reasonable price and friendly owners.
Nothing to comment.
Room was dirty light fitting hanging of and damp patch on ceiling window open tiny bit by wood
The room was clean! Breakfast hours are OK and the location is also very good because it's only 7min. to walk for the metro! There is warm water enough in the shower!
The shower is very basic and only one shower in the house for a bed and breakfast...everyone will take a shower in the morning so you 've to wait and loose time :(
The mistress of the house was pleasant.
Almost every thing. The Owner was almost scary, dirty and rude. Place was shabby, dirty, cramped, and very poorly appointed. Beds were uncomfortable. Rood was falsely promoted as having a sitting area, NO. There was no Communal area. Breakfast was very minimal.
Location was only 10 minutes walking distance from the circle and the district line Friendly staff Two bathrooms
A bit hard to find the end of the street is another street the opposite side is already 189, our side was only 8. This made us a bit confused.
My friend and I spent 7 days in this hostel (04/08/14-11.08/14). Everything was on the highest level, it is a perfect choise for tourists like us. The host and the hostess are nicest people, everything was always clear, the breakfast was pretty substential. The place is very convenient too. In sum, there were all the creature comforts we needed, even more. Thank you VERY MUCH for your hospitality and friendliness. We absolutely recommend this hostel to everybody!
There were absolutely no problems at all.
unable to ake a cup of tea to drink in room
The staff is friendly but that was about it. Oh and it's not far away from the centre of the city so that's a plus.
We only stayed in the B&B for one night but if we stayed more we would be looking for other hostel. The breakfast was not edible, the rooms and other facilities are really old and we didn't really feel safe in the area.
The staff was extremely helpful, basic facilities, but clean. The breakfast was OK.
The liquid soap was dashed with water. You can't use the kitchen after 21 hours.
Our room was clean, I liked the staff and the fact that FCT was near Mile End Tube Station (5-6 min. walking distance -District, Hammersmith & City, Central lines ). Generally, good value for money.
They could diversify breakfast.
The cleanliness of the accommodation was great, both of the toilet and the room were good!
Tourists needed to share the toilet.
Very different from their online photos, the bed was not clean. The shower room was extremely simple and small. Breakfast was homemade but not friendly. Strongly unrecommand.
value for the money. reasonably good breakfast
