Niente. Nothing. The flat was really small and dirty. The bed sheets were dirty, we found a lot of hair and the worst thing is that the landlord doesn't care about your requests...we asked to receive a table to have a breakfast and he didn't call us back. The journey there was a nightmare

Car parking. We stayed because we had a family of 5. Apartment was very very small. The outside of the block requires a good clean as rubbish is lying around everywhere.. Carpet inside very dirty..would not recommend.

The location of the apartment was excellent with easy access to shops, restaurants, buses and the airport. The booking system was efficient and access, keys etc were easily obtained. It was generally clean and warm. The location of the apartment was excellent but the decor needs updating. The carpet was very badly stained, bed settee was threadbare and covered with a stained throw and the curtain at the window was grubby looking. There were holes in the plaster in the bedroom and bathroom and a random assortment of towels, bedding and dishes. It would not be expensive or difficult to put laminate flooring throughout and buy matching linen and crockery and it would have made such a difference to our stay.

It was cheap and good location. Pubs and supermarkets just down the road, and close to the city centre. Oh and the safe was a really good idea.

There are a few of kitchen ware to use. The ventilation of the room is very bad, there is only one window in the apartment. Moreover, the smoke detectors are very sensitive, especially the one in the kitchen. It was very annoying.

The family that runs this bed and breakfast were very friendly. I phoned ahead to ask about dinner and when I arrived they had a map prepared marking some of their personal favorites. Breakfast was excellent. It is a super location for using the ferry. My daughter left her hat (her favorite hat) in the bedsheets and our hosts posted the missing treasure to a hotel we were going to be staying at no extra charge. Great hosts, great rooms, great breakfast and a great location. I highly recommend. Sandy ~ Canada

Dear all, when we arrived in the apartment it wasn`t cleaned. There was a lot of dirt in all edges and under the bed. The bed cover was dirty(some blod or something like this). Outside it was the same. Papers and bird shit in the frontyard, the table was totally dirty and it was just one chair availeble, the other one was thrown over a fence....The most badly equiped rooms i`ve ever seen...For the price of 290 pounds a mess...For all who like nice places, try Culag Lochside Guest house !!!

Free parking and easy to get bus, kitchen was good and bathroom was clean. Over grown surrounding, had to duck to get into apartment, carpets were disgusting, stains and threadings at the edges, rooms were bland and boring, holes and chips in walls, room booked for 4 but only seating for 2, noise level unbelieveable, our bedroom was situated next to main entrance all we heard was bang, bang all night with the door. Check out, we had 2 different times 10:00 and 10:30, we called the owner but when she called back there was a cut off message left, so we then had to leave at 10:00. Not what we expected in many ways.

The facilities were good and well arranged. It was easy to get into and use for the duration of our stay. We used all rooms for sleeping arrangements and found the bunk bed and sofa bed useful. It is a shame that previous occupants have damaged your walls and had a bad iron mark in the main bedroom on the carpet. Would it not be sensible to have a book say near the front entrance/or in the flat, for faults or problems for each flat. This would then bring any such snags to your attention when being cleaned. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and took advantage of the nearness of the Tesco and the buses at the top of the road into town. Your book could have these facilities pointed out to users also. Will definately use you again should we come up again

The location was great. The price was good. The bed's were small and mattresses worn out - you could feel the springs. It was rather cosy for 5 people.

Apartment for 6 people is perfect for 4 (you have 2 bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen). If you only spend night here - 6 people is ok. Fully equiped kitchen, hot shower, quite comfortable beds. Fire alarms works any time you turn on the toster (even with maximum ventilation). Don't forget to call the hotel before you arrive for the key instruction (there is no reception).

Car park was in close proximity to the apartment Stains all over the floors, uncomfortable beds, springs sticking up, stains on valance sheets, no security on the front door lock which was what was stated along with a pin number, turns out there was no lock.iron marks on carpets, did not see a welcome pack, I.e loaf of bread, a pint of milk, all apartments I have stayed at always give a complimentary food pack which probably does not cost more than £5 but this does help when you arrive late.

Enjoyed our stay! Good location only 10mins on bus to city centre and 5mins to zoo/murrayfield although both walkable in 30mins. stayed for KoL gig and accomodation was perfect for what we needed! would stay again! can't fault the owner but people staying previous night had trashed the flat! owner did good job of cleaning but we still found shards of glass throughout during our stay.

It was not filthy dirty. Needed work though We never saw anyone from the hotel staff, we got a key from an drop box. There was no compfortable place to sleep the bed was nothing more that springs wrapped in a old sheet. There was no good furnature to sit on, the chairs wer cheap outdoor plastic chairs that might break at any moment. The Childrens bunk bed was also cheap and wobbely. A small amount of work and new furnature would make it nice.

Some great family visits - to Camera Obscura, Dynamic Earth and of course, Edinburgh Castle We couldn't get in the front door as the key wouldn't work but could use a back door. The only other negative was that we couldn't get a signal on the TV.

The apartments were close to the main road with lots of buses in and out of the city. There were lots of shops /restaurants/takeaways for food close by.Within walking distance of the stadium. The smoke alarms were set in the kitchen and would go off if any cooking was attempted. We could hear that this was the case in other apartments too as the alarms were going off regularly at breakfast time. It would also have been a good idea to have a few table mats to protect the table from hot plates, we had to use magazines.
