Featherhall Garden Court Apartments

Appartamento carino confortevole adatto per le famiglie ma anche per coppie, comodo per visitare edimburgo città, servito benissimo dai mezzi di trasporto e attività commerciali tutto a pochi passi.

La mancanza di una reception vera e propria soprattutto per poter verificare personalmente chi alloggia.

Appartamento bene accessoriato, comodissimo per un soggiorno ad Edinburgo : con i mezzi pubblici a brevissima distanza si raggiunge velocemente il centro. Supermercato, negozi e ristoranti nelle immediate vicinanze. Parcheggio interno disponibile (ma si può anche lasciare la macchina in strada). L'aereoporto è a nemmeno un quarto d'ora di strada. Utile l' Information Book in camera.

L'assenza di una reception vera e propria : la chiave per l'appartamento è depositata in una cassettina di sicurezza e per ottenere il codice di apertura è necessario contattare il manager (cosa comunque specificata nel sito)

we had a very pleasnt stay at featherhall garden court apartments the apartment was clean and tidy and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a good base for our vist to Edinburgh only a 10 min ride on the bus away and there was a good choice of shops and places to eat within walking distance. An added bonus was that Edinburgh zoo was a 10 min walk away. I would highly recomend this place to anybody it was perfect and excellent value for money.

location was okay not far from bus stops and a great carvery just up the road, kitchen facilities was the only positive feature of this apartment.

The beds were all very uncomfortable, sofa bed should be thrown away! carpets were filthy, most furniture old and some broken!

The apartments have everything you need and make a clean inexpensive stay when there is a few in your party. Although a little way outside the city centre, there is a really good and frequent bus route into the city centre. Its too far for walking. There are plenty of shops and pubs near by too, with a 24 hour tesco within walking distance.

My only gripe about these apartments was the creaking floors and you could feel the springs of the bed on the matress.

Great value for money for a group of 12 women on a hen weekend, a place to get ready and sleep! Caretaker was very helpful

Not enough mirrors. We could have done with one in each room!! Was a bit noisy from above, there was a tot running around from about 6.30am. Hope we weren't too noisy at night!

Great bus routes to the city. Good local faciities. Generally clean, tidy and bright. The cooker worked well

Some of the equiptment/facilities in the room were a little dissapointing, but would be quite inexpensive to remedy. For example, there were a number of light bulbs not working, the tin opener was almost impossible to use, the kitchen pans really need replacing due to excessive wear, the DVD player did not like ejecting disks and the matresses were of a low quality and quite uncomfortable. The main door to the building also "banged shut" and woke us up when anyone used it in the night.

This was a very basic apartment that was clean and affordable. We never saw any staff - you call at the door and get your room key from a safe. The location is good - Tesco, bars, restaurants nearby. The bus system is very easy and there's a bus stop nearby.

the easy checking in to the appartment,the location,you got all the shops and bar,s that serve food and entertainment and the ease to get in to the city either by bus or cab the bus would cost you 1.20 and a cab @ 11.

the fact that we had a kitchen & we could cook meals instead of eating out all the time, and we had a washer-dryer. we also had a little patio.

I liked the cheap rates, the facilities in the apartment and the proximity to local shops etc.

The apt was located in an excellent spot for access to the sights in downtown Edinburgh. A bus stop is located 1 minute from the apt. A Tesco is located right down the road. The apt itself was very comfortable, with plenty of room for my family of 5.

The hot water in the shower was a bit dodgy. We could have used a larger pot to boil water for pasta.
