Clean, efficent, functional
Thin walls, thus could hear people chatting from 6:30 am! Also lught coming through the blinds!! Impossible to sleep frim 6:30 onwards.
Hotel not clean, the whole place wants renovating or closing down.
Good location, free parking, clean rooms, breakfast ok.
Bathrooms are old and would need renovating.
Near train station, not, far from a bus stop for into the centre of the town centre. If you wanted it is a nice 25min walk in.The.staff were very helpful. Nothing was any bother to them. Breakfast very good. Beds, linen and room very clean.really enjoyed our weekend in Fenners.
Proximity to the train station
- Bedroom window was cracked which meant your could hear all the traffic and noise through the night - Thin walls and lots of door slamming - Wi-Fi didn't work on any of my devices and staff weren't very helpful in resolving this issue.
If you want a nice hotel, then pick some place else. For a B&B, it is acceptable (Tenison Road properties are all guesthouses). Room was ok, although because of the wood floors it can get loud with certain footwear. Towels and linen are clean, and there's complementary tea/coffee maker in the room, and TV. It was near the train station, so that was great for me. Breakfast was good.
Photos were very very misleading!!! The only accurate one is the one of the breakfast place. Bathroom is not the cleanest, but for a quick stopover trip, it's fine.
no hot water, heaters are not working ( cold room)
The staff is really bad service
Location and hotel car park in a largely no parking area of town.
Room a bit close to bins and kitchen, so early morning noise.
Near the railway Helpful staff
Strange smell Poor wifi in our room didn't like having to share table at breakfast
I liked the room and the bathroom they are quite spacious, clean. The bedlinen was soft and nice.
The bathroom was smelly, bet unconfortable. It didnt look as In The pictures at all.
Location to train station
Single room at top of house with very narrow staircase. Scruffy carpets.TV did not work, wardrobe rickety, ensuite too small so just about useable. Should not be called a "hotel"
Close to the station and an easy walk into central cambridge, staff were very nice and helpful.
Room was very grotty in bad need of refurbishment. Bed was ok but mattress very thin and the carpet was stained. The shower head was partly broken and had turned brown with black mold on it so I had to clean it before using it. TV only worked occasionally as was on a portable arial will limited signal, could not even get BBC1.
Reasonable price and near to rail station .
Room could be cleaner and there were a lot of marks on the walls that could be improved with a coat of paint to make the room feel less shabby .
Staff were friendly, only 10 minute walk from town centre
The building was shabby and the rooms were also shabby. The pictures on the internet make it look nice but they are not true, well our room certainly wasn't like the pictures
Excellent location with free parking. Despite the very scruffy bathroom & the desperate need for redecoration & refurbishment it was reasonably clean, rooms at the back of the hotel were quiet, and the staff were very friendly.
Badly in need of refurbishment, especially the bathroom of my room and the corridors.
- Very kind and understanding staff - Good location near the Mill Road with lots of takeaways and restaurants - Vegeterian option for the breakfast - TV in the room
- The matress was a bit uncomfortable
breakfast and dining room good
needs updating not good value for money
Bathroom was pretty poor. Needs renovation
The kindness of people to help you out regardless their tiredness and/or other duties
Wi-Fi was slow and not really usable at the end
Close to the station
Very small rooms almost impossible for two people to be in the room with luggage. Very run down
Silent place , fast speed wifi, there is kettle in the room with some biscuits .
There should be someone help to carry luggage because there is not elevator and if a person will stay upstair it is going to be problem for customer . Also on the bed had the hair of other customer and there should be extra pillow .
Poor decoration, cleanliness, facilities and breakfast
Proximity to Railway Station
Attic Room OK for me 5ft 5in tall but would be a problem for taller person
