Was really pleased with recent stay at the Fenwick Hotel, staff were all very friendly and helpful, although myself and husband were late for breakfast the lovely staff offered us refreshments and toast. Also they let us keep our luggage in our room a little longer as we were waiting on a lift home and were having some drinks at the bar, nothing seemed too much for them and me and my husband are considering contacting the hotel maybe for a relaxing weekend stay. The facilities were lovely and clean and very comfortable , but what makes us want to return is definetly the staff and there friendly approach, so a word to the hotel..keep your wonderful staff there a credit to you!

Staff were very friendly and the food was lovely. Renovations ongoing - the place is a building site! We were not warned about this at the booking stage, and considering we booked a night in the Hotel to get away from renovations in our own home, it really wasn't the most relaxing place to be. That said, the staff tried their best to make up for it - so it wouldn't stop me booking in with the Fenwick Hotel again... After the renovations are complete however!

We would definately reccomend this hotel and will be stopping over again in the very near future. The staff were some of the most helpfull and well mannered i have encountered and the rooms were spacious, clean and warm (the double bed were the largest i've encountered in a hotel !).Eating in the atatched restraunt is a must as the cuisine is excellent and very reasonably priced for the standard of food served.Breakfast in the morning was again very good ,with a broad selection on offer ranging from cereals and fruit juices to a hearty traditional cooked breakfast for the more brave. All in all excellent and well worth staying.

Lovely staff, excellent food, nice room and a good shower. Fast, free wi-fi in the rooms. Good value for money. As a stop-over when travelling to Scotland it is ideal. The hotel is literally right on the M77 so, if you want to sleep with the window open, it is noisy. The refurbishment works are pretty major, not really a problem but perhaps these could be mentioned in the hotel description so that people could be aware when booking to make an informed choice.

The staff, food/bar and rooms are excellent. The sole problem has to be the bathrooms and in particular the showers which are unpredictable (room 8) and 'tired (room 10). Prices are good value and overall very good experience and will use again. showers and bathrooms

The refurbishment of the lounge and dining are really well done and the food at dinner was superb. The staff were cheerful and efficient. The bathroom in our room badly in need of an update. The breakfast is now a buffet style, food sitting under hot lights.Bacon etc.dry and hard.Coffee served by the cup from a machine in the bar,not in a pot on the table.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was good. Only slight point was that in the bathroom the bath panel was cracked and some of the grout was dirty around the shower, however, overall the room was clean and tidy

Hotel and facilities were excellent and clean Biggest let down was the fact it is situated right next to the motorway, by this I mean you could open your window and look down at the crash barrier. It wouldn't stop me staying again - but be sure to ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.

The hotel was beautifully appointed. The reception staff were excellent. And the food was very good and exceptional value for money We felt that the resturant staff required a bit more training and lacked the 'look about' that gives excellent service. They were, however, very pleasant

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They could not have been nicer and put themselves out more. The room was a little tatty with stains on the carpet and in need of tidying up in the bathroom but the staff's helpfulness made these seem very irrelevant.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient. The dining room is light and airy and the food was very good The view from the dining room is the car park - not very pleasant. The carpet in the room was badly stained which made it look dirty and the top of the television set was dusty, but generally it was clean and comfortable. There was a little mould on the sealing strip around the bath although the bathroom was clean. I thought it was reasonable value for money.

Good value for money. The hotel was in the midst of a reservation but the staff were coping well and were friendly and helpful. We ate there and the food was very good and the breakfast was excellent in the circumstances. The hotel was very near the motorway, however, we slept OK, even though our room overlooked the motorway.

We attended a golden wedding party and stayed over in the hotel. The staff were very attentive, especially the manageress. There was no tonic available for gin. Soda water was offered- not the same at all!
