The Fenwick Hotel  

Staff friendly and professional. Food was excellent quality at reasonable prices. Reception, restaurant and bar were very well presented.

Room was very small. Not possible to sit at the desk and work on lap top.

the location near motorway and easy access to and from it, the carpart layout made it easy to park. the room layout was very clean and tidy.

the restuarant closes at 9pm

Hotel is in an ideal location, bar was still open even though we were late arriving and staff were friendly

Nothing to not like

well appointed room. Good equipment, plenty of parking. Good decor throughout. Bathrooms very nice and water piping hot. Staff very relaxed and helpful. Everything I asked for wasn't a problem. Jug of milk instead of plastic pots, not a problem, bacon sandwich instead of breakfast... be ready when you leave.

The design of the shower glass oddly irritated as needed to lean on to adjust shower, or get it and start shower. It breaks off to A+E for me! Why is the smoking area always somewhere a force 8 always finds you.

Had a wee problem with the shower temp, but was rectified straight away when I mentioned it to reception

There wasn't anything to complain about , maybe the A.c in the bathroom , but easily remedied by closing the door .

The staff were extremely h elpful and we enjoyed our one night stay at the Fenwick. We were visiting family in the village and it was extremely convenient.

We stay at this hotel for work and the staff are amazing, always helpful and willing to help. Poll table and nice bar area with friendly locals allows us to chill out after work. The food is awesome, I can't speak highly enough of the quality from the restaurant

Comfortable clean room, good restaurant, very friendly helpful staff. Booked as very convenient for our needs and we could take the dog there. The ambience of the whole place is stylish, efficient and friendly.

Charging £10 per night for a dog is steep, £10 per stay would be more reasonable to cover extra cleaning costs, we stayed 3 nights which is good business for the hotel.

Very nice hotel - dog friendly. He came in the bar with me for supper. Lovely big room and bathroom.

I found the hotel very nice ,staff were friendly and the location was quiet. We would certainly return to the Fenwick.

Great value for money, country village location but mega-handy for the motorway. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfy and cosy with everything we needed, lovely decor and en-suite (with a bath - bonus!) was well appointed and clean. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and good breakfast too. Will be back!

We attended a wedding at the Fenwickand were delighted with the accomodation & food, staff excellent and very friendly.
