Nothing to not like about this hotel.
Every things was fine.
Nothing at all.
-All the staff are very nice -Free lift to town centre -Great location
Lovely hotel and great food Will stay again for sure when in Guernsey
Absolutely stunning rooms! The hotel was lovely! There was complimentary sherry, bottled water, apples and fudge! It was excelent and our room had fabulous views. The only thing lacking was the wifi did not reach our room, but we did not kind because everything else was perfect.
Wifi did not reach our room.
The room was beautiful and had a balcony overlooking the valley. Free sherry in the room and dressing gown made it feel more luxurious. Fantastic restaurants on site - great feel and food, were also very well staffed. Great that there was a swimming pool also overlooking the valley and a little sauna. Breakfast was perfect - lots of choice! Lovely hotel with a really nice feel, one of the best I've stayed in and would love to come back!
The double bed was two single beds pushed together - this didn't match the luxury of the room. Wouldn't change anything else!
The hotel is charming and welcoming, has a relaxed and comfortable feel about the place. The staff are helpful, happy and are very accommodating for your every need!
Suggestion only: maybe a bigger pool/spa area?
The junior silver suite was lovely situated at the top of the hill in the gardens. The staff were very friendly and efficient and made us feel most welcome. The courtesy car was very handy picking us up from the airport and dropped us in to town when we wanted.
the staff the food, eating breakfast on our verander
having to get a taxi to go anywere
The staff were most helpful and informative. The bedroom and the public rooms were most comfortable all were spotless and well maintained.
Trying to phone the Reception to book a table in the Restaurant is bit of a lottery. I tried twice just before leaving for the airport, with no success. I then emailed but apparently that was not received (?).
beautiful room and views down the Fermain valley. complementary car service to the airport and St Peter Port excellent hotel facilities: restaurants and gardens
The hotel n airport transfer was good restrant staff good the male receptionist n vere in reception all staff friendly the room
The upgrade not done as requested the location of the room we were in too hilly n too many steps when I had just had a lung biopsy this wasn't good as it took me at least 20 min to get to room we wanted to go swimming morning and afternoon but not able to as the hill was too steep this is why we requested a gold room
friendly, polite and extremely helpful staff food amazing Room views spectacular
room could have done with air con as it was a very warm night. Despite the balcony doors being open it was quite uncomfortable as there was no wind
The location and views. The indoor pool. The excellent food.
Our room situated over one of the restaurants. There was some noise and food smells.
Facilities, friendliness of all the staff and a stunning location. Excellent food and service throughout the hotel. No request was too small.
Our Venue room was opposite the Fermain Tavern which was noisy in the late evening into the early morning. The room was also close to a busy road. On warm nights the windows needed to be open which didn't help with the noise issue. The rooms in the main part of the hotel would have been quieter.
Really lovely hotel in fabulous setting. Great staff and excellent restaurant. Good sized rooms. Everyone very helpful and professional.
Only one thing really. Considering the hotel seemed very recently renovated, surprised at the lack of Air Conditioning.
Room was spacious and quiet with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Food and staff were excellent. Can't wait to come back again!
Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and amazing garden area with views out to sea. The restaurant served a good breakfast and the room we stayed in was a platinum room and was beautiful.
The staff were very helpful but at breakfast it seemed to go a bit wrong and although a menu was given the food could take a while as the staff seemed to go from table to table rather than given a specific table to serve. For the Most part this was not a major issue.
Complaint logged with management.
Small room, tiny bathroom, very expensive. Dry blood on toilet seat!!
Paying to be in main hotel and getting shown where all the facilities are. then get taken to their second, right up the top of the hill, which meant to use any of the facilities, we had to leave our hotel in the wind and the rain and walk down the hill to the main hotel which meant getting soaking wet, so basically never left our room.
Service, views, location, rooms, beds, towels, free mini bar, decor of whole hotel, terrace I really loved this visit and I am very fussy
Poor quality orange juice at breakfast, no grapefruit juice, aircraft noise, noise from returning guests
All staff encountered were super friendly and helpful.
Good location on the island, plenty of vegetation, close to St Peter and the airport, staff generally friendly and helpful, room and building was cosy, indoor pool cool and therefore pleasant. Complimentary water bottles, fruit and local spirit a nice touch.
The bed looked comfy but actually wasn't -- mattress and pillows gave us back and headaches. Room was stuffy too, even with window open. Food more on par with a 3-star. Hotel layout a bit confusing/ disjointed. All in all overpriced.
The welcome from all staff and their attention to the wishes of visitors all flowing down from the friendly approach personified by Richard, the top man.
Less favourable opinion of the particular room (1st floor, front in the Venue) Road noise and reverberations from the cimema below. Will certainly come again but will be asking for a totally tranquil room.
Lovely location, charming rooms. Enjoyed a very substantial breakfast on the terrace with a wide range of breakfast items. Beautiful grounds and access to the beach and cafe. The lady on reception was most welcoming and showed us all the facilities.
Would have liked to see more vegetarian options on the menus, also free range eggs not available at breakfast which did surprise us.
