Lovely room, that was spotlessly clean and was in a perfect location for the purpose of the trip. Debbie, the owner, couldn't have been nicer and rustled up a lovely breakfast.
The room was comfortable and very clean. Staff were always available to help.Location within walking distance of City centre
Everything about this small guest house suits my needs, from its location to its nice rooms. I have stayed here many times and will continue to do in the future..
Helpful staff and a nice breakfast, close to Birdoswald and Vindolanda,
very accommodating couldn't do enough for us great value for money and for families would highly recommend.
The room. Decoration and excellent cleanliness. Breakfast En-suite shower room excellent.
Easy to find and located well.
easy to get to.10 minutes from town, and parking
Location was a plus within the city, plus a short walk to couple of good restrauants.
First floor room picked up street traffic noise in the morning.
Location fairly close to town. Debbie nice. Casa Romana restaurant delicious Italian food.
3 flites steep stairs to attic room. Not comfortable, walls very low. Shower just awful, so small you cannot move. Just old and dingy room. Street noise. Overall, unpleasant.
Everything from comfy bed, cleanliness of bathroom and superb breakfast.
Our room was compact but clean and modern. Bathroom was similarly modern and clean. Space was tight -- we needed to maneuver around our two suitcases. Also, we had to climb two flights of narrow, steep stairs -- definitely not fun. Breakfast was definitely satisfactory. We had a limited view to the adjacent park -- not bad.
Traffic noise was definitely noticeable at night -- NOT so good.
Really well located for the football stadium. Good choice of restaurants a short walk away.
The bed was very comfortable. The lady who served us breakfast was very sweet.
I didn't realise when booking that the guest house is on a very busy main road and I didn't get much sleep. The shower room is the smallest I have ever seen and it was difficult to get dry after taking a shower. Shower room carpet stained and there were hairs on some of the woodwork. While eating breakfast, a lady walked through the dining room to the kitchen with a pile of dirty bed linen!
We lucked out with a first floor room, so we didn't have to take luggage up and down stairs. Debbie was friendly and helpful.
Comfortable, nice breakfast, friendly staff
Too noisy as on main road. Ground floor room needs net curtains on lower half of windows for privacy - had to close the blinds whilst still light!
Breakfast was very good.Waitress was very friendly. Main areas all very comfortable, lovely decor. Quiet room and comfortable bed.
En suite was rather small.
Great breakfast, clean room, an easy walk into town. Good price
Attending a family re-union about 50 yards away so couldn't have been better located!! Staff were excellent. Very clean and no noise from other rooms.
Excellent Breakfast, comfortable and suitable accommodation. The location was perfect for en route travel and finding somewhere to eat nearby. Pleasant and friendly staff.
Very clean Fresh smelling room, bedding and towels Easy, short walk to town Great breakfast Very good value for money
Flexible on early check in and late check out in contrast to reviews I had read. Four poster bed. Handy for football ground.
only one window opened, needed more air in room. Bit pricey - should be about £60 for a double.
