Quiet. A great stop when you ride on the isle of wight
the view from my window was not great (a wall and foof)
Quality of the rooms, the welcome on arrival, the swimming pool and not forgetting the breakfast.
Everything else. Wonderful staff, hospitality and breakfasts to die for.
Our room was a bit on the small side and too hot. We had windows open all the time. Bed too hard.
Staff very helpful and friendly . Had a swim ,water perfect temp . Breakfast delicious . Room lovely size and really cheap @ £60
Location. Spacious and well-furnished. Welcoming and extremely professional owners who obviously trained their staff well, and were always available to assist and advise. Breakfast excellent. Atmosphere. Bathroom clean and spacious.
Our room somewhat small (but advertised as such). Feel would need air-conditioning in summer as we found the bedroom quite hot
well appointed , friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast
bed uncomfortable but not unusual for me.
The room, the pool, the staff, the breakfast, the whole thing. Definitely going back
Working on the island and had to be on site for 8am. Staff prepared breakfast early for us. Excellent, we will be back.
friendly attentive staff, great breakfast and comfortable room. Lovely outlook and within easy reach of the old village with plenty of bars and restaurants.
Temperature of the bedroom, it was over 23 degrees all night even with the radiators turned off. Poor water pressure, especially on the shower.
Hotel was very clean and tidy and breakfast was awesome. The staff was very accommodating from start of stay.
Bed was a bit hard and swimming pool needs to be serviced.
Location, Style, Standards, Comfort and Friendliness.
There was nothing to dislike.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was also good and the use of a pool was brilliant. The food was exceptional. Would certainly recommend Fernbank hotel.

Nothing, will be returning in the near future.
Fantastic breakfasts with wide choice of food. Lovely indoor swimming pool. Excellent staff.
Room slightly smaller than we would have liked. Would have appreciated better lighting when putting make-up on, and more shelving in bathroom.
Very good in every way.
Nothing to fault.
Everything couldn't fault it ! It's location was ideal just a walk around the corner to shanklin village which was delightful thatched roofs everywhere and so quaint local pubs and Italian restaurant fantastic too. Breakfast was wonderful and views into lovely garden just lovely.
We often find hotel ratings suspect but not the case here. The Fernback is definitely 4 star. Beautiful facility, large room, friendly staff, very good breakfast.
