LOTS OF HOT WATER AND PLENTY OF TOWELS. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY. ROOM SMALL BUT HAD EVERYTHING.
DIFFICULT TO PARK BUT THERE WAS A MUSICAL EVENT ON THAT NIGHT AND THAT HAD ATTRACTED MANY PEOPLE WITH CARS. VERY SMALL SHOWER
Sheets strongly smelling of laundry soap (unrinsed?).
Great food and service
Noise of Trains
Train noise Small room Dirty shower head
Lovely staff at the hotel. Had dinner there at night and the food was homemade and delicious! Rooms are a little dated looking I.e the TV & furniture but on the whole a lovey place to stay. I would stay again.
Turned up to find the double room i had booked wasnt to b and hotel had us in a twin room. Hardly the romantic weekend in mind . However the lady got us another but we ended up going home
Was busy for meals and comfy but didnt stay long
Staff could not do enough for you Food was great
Train going over the bridge was a bit noisy.
I celebrated my 50th birthday this year and therefore felt I wanted to take in the Forth Road Bridge 50th Celebrations Firework display on the 13th of September. The Ferrybridge Hotel was the perfect location and it was less than a five minute walk to the best spot from which to see the fireworks. It was truly wonderful. The hotel itself has limited parking, but a space had been saved for my car, which was great. I had a lovely double bed with a great view of the railway bridge. The food was excellent and had the best steak pie I have ever tasted. I felt very much at home and like I was staying with friends. I will definitely return.
Limited parking but as I said, there was a space reserved for me so wasn't an issue. Some of the decor was a little dated, but that in no way detract from the comfort of the stay.
Very tasty cooked breakfast
the extra single bed in the double room used up far too much space. and the ancient TV could get only i channel.
Amazing views Friendly staff In-house restaraunt was excellent
The food was very good for a small hotel
trains passing early mornng
Food was excellent fantastic value for money Pleasent staff View terrific
The only potential problem is that you may be awoken by the trains going over the bridge in the morning if your a light sleeper
A lovely room with a better view than expected.
A little noisy but that didn't spoil it
The hotel was very reasonably priced, convenient, withmeals available.
Food was excellent. Location was for us, just what we were looking for.
Room decor and bedding was tired.
Comfortable & excellent value. We had a superb evening meal, if you don't stay there pop in for an evening meal !
the price, the village
the sound of trains early in the morning and late at night
Our dinner was excellent and the young woman who served us was wonderful.
The hotel part and our room was old and very small. It was clean but definitely needed to be renovated.
The staff are very friendly and the view of the Forth Railway Bridge was breath taking.
Thank you to flexibility of friendly staff!
Very friendly family run hotel, good food and excellent tribute night, will return
Easy location for all directions. North/south/ central. Great price.
