It was a great stay in a good apartment. We took a taxi from the airport and went to reception. It was late so we got our key in a little key box. You have to call reception to get this code. After we got the key we found the apartment very easily with the directions given. It was very close to the castle and it looked like a little castle itself. Spiral stone staircase which I found very charming. All the instructions were easy and logical. The apartment was very clean and very comfortable and modern but also with charming old furniture. I loved the view from the room which was on the top floor overlooking Edinburg. You could even see the sea and Scotts Monument! Amazing! The apartment was in the City Centre. Towels, soap, coffee, tea, water cooker, toaster and flat screen tv were provided. Beds were comfortable! Loved the stay in Edinburgh! Just perfect! Maybe a bit noisy at night when neighbours came home, because it seems like the doors are very thin.

A quirky building overlooking the courtyard where I was entertained by the 'haunted' and 'poet' tours. Furnishing a bit 'tired', not 100% clean.

Wnoszenie bagażu do pokoju to koszmar!!!

Der er kun en pæn ting at sige beliggenhed . Der regnede ind den første dag og køkkenet stod under vand , vi måtte tørre gulvet med de få håndklæder vi havde . Da vi så ringede til udlejer sagde han vi kunne få noget som var værre

The location was excellent and the rooms had everything you needed which was good. The boiler made a horrid noise and took a whole to switch off and was very loud. The tele didn't work in the room, so it was lucky we had dvd'S. When sitting and moving on the couch it smelt rather stale and damp. The table had parts missing on it, obviously with people having their feet up an the side coming away. The hand wash in the bathroom was really watered down. As I said location was great and the overall cleanliness was good.

Great value, decent acomodation. We were at the top of the staircase so I'm glad I didn't have my 23kg suitcase with me to get all the way up. We requested a double room and got 2 single beds with separate linen. Aside from that the location to the castle was awesome :)

When we booked online the pictures showed nice bed linen and attractively decorated appartments/rooms. The photo's are deceiving as the room we were in was quite shabby. The divan base was on show and was very dated. The shower was grubby. The television did not work as the digital receiver could not find a signal on any channel. As a very central place in the middle of Edinburgh I booked with confidence that they would have to keep a good reputation. As we had travelled from Aberdeenshire to go to a music concert and to have drinks with friends we put up with the room but would not recommend.
