Efficient booing in Nice bathroom with good shower Funny smell in room from drains I suspect masked by aerosol spray which made matters worse. On a busy noisy road so could not open windows feeling of being in an airless room with a sickly smell. Accomodation block as external Iron fire escape type staircase which is very noisy, Hotel is decorated in 1960 Berni Inn style and breakfast was served by a Mono sliiabonic lad with a nice display of prison type tattoos. If you would like a sixtys retro break or long to be back in the Army this place would suit you fine

Easy to find and although it was on the main road, we did not notice any noise . We had our our own room key and were able to come and go as we pleased. We did not have an evening meal but the English breakfast was excellent. Lack of digital signal on some TV channels, which is only a minor niggle. Also, the area seems to suffer from poor mobile phone signal, but this is not the fault of the Ffolkes Arms!!

Rooms were poorly decorated with no matching furniture, fittings and the bedding was cheap, faded and torn. Very small television, cups provided for tea/coffee were dirty. Staff were pleasant but only if you could find someone to speak to. Shame really because if they put in a little more thought and effort with some nice bedding it would be ok. Breakfast provided was ok with fair choice of cereals, but cooked breakfast was let down by undercooked eggs, tinned mushrooms and not being offered choice of white or brown bread.

staff contacted us after we had left an item in our bedroom and they had it ready for us on our return conveniently situated on main road our satnav took us about 3 miles away from the hotel

Pleasant and helpful staff. Good sized room with comfortable beds and large ensuite bathroom/shower. Bar meals are good value. The hotel is on a busy main road - if you are a light sleeper, the early morning traffic noise might be a problem.

Convenience Good value espicially with breakfast in the price. Nice setting / lovely garden - 'feel good factor' Clean room - especially bathroom The bed / mattress was uncomfortable - too hard.

What a lovely welcome, lovely staff, food and value for money. I will stay here every time I visit this area. The only thing I found difficult was the hard mattress, I had 3 quite uncomfortable nights.

The food was excellant and could not be faulted, the room was warrm, comfortable and very clean and the staff were helpfull cheerfull and could not do enough for us. We try to have a weekend break every 6 - 8 weeks and we will certainly be staying here again, in fact I have started to look for attractions in and around the area Nothing really, the check out time was early at 10:00 but after a word with the owners they were fairly flexable about it

In my opinion this Hotel is one of the best we have stayed in. The food was outstanding level of service second to none and all in all I can find no faults with this hotel. We will be staying at this hotel the next time we holiday in Norfolk
