The location was amazing and the cabin/apartment was lovely and so cosy. We met the host at the enquiries house to check in and see where the apartment was and, she was so friendly. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

the bunk beds were v. comfy and i loved the bedding cuz it was COTTON so was extra comfy.
the bunks were a tad squeeky but other than that, fine!
obviously the toilets were a walk away, but they were v.clean.
quite an eperience and defo. worth the money.
i loved the fairy lights and other lights that went on at night, to lead the way

Beautiful, incredibly preserved small market town. The weather didn't allow us to explore close surroundingds as we wished. The town itself has got plenty of pubs, cafes, gift shops, art shops. The parking was not good steep narrow road I think once inside the property there was 44 steps or stairs some very steep and narrow, wouldn’t recommend to guests with any type of mobility issues. Lounge furniture needs replacing very old and uncomfortable lounge smelt musty. One of the bedrooms very damp with mushroom type mould Growing on wall and carpet. Bathrooms very nice modern plenty of them. Everything you needed supplied in the kitchen. Beds very comfortable lovely bedding. A well maintained property, with delightful hosts. Breakfasts very good. Lovely gardens and views of the countryside/hills. Room facilities good, comfy & cosy. I plan to stay here again when next visiting the area. I have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Good base for lots of things. great walking area. I used it as a base for a golfing break as it's in the centre of a triangle of some great links golf courses incl St David's [Harlech], Aberdovey, and Porthmadog, And the spectacular Welshpool GC with amazing views over 5 counties! Beautiful thriving little market town with lots of unique shops, as well as a few staples, and a big Spar. The restuarant that we went to (Y Sospan) was amazing. A lovely little town with many attractive shops and restaurants. We visited the tapas bar more than once. The food was delicious. It is an ideal location for exploring the Snowdonia area and for going south to Mid-Wales.

It was so handy for so many fabulous walks and stunning scenery. It’s not a part of Wales that we know well but found the area to be outstandingly beautiful. The accommodation was so comfortable cosy and warm really well put together. It was a real find. Absolutely perfect. The hosts Richard and his Nan were fantastic and so knowledgeable about the area. We want to come back again when we can.

The staff of the hotel are really excellent, offering a much nicer experience than a standard corporate hotel chain. We felt really looked after, without being overwhelmed by too much service. Breakfast was really good and the breakfast/dining area is lovely. The same is true of the sitting room - we had a couple of nights finishing off a bottle of wine by the fire, which was magical. Dinner was great for a special occasion. I would love to come back.
