A friendly, privately-owned and run hotel on the edge of the Charnwood Forest between highway M1 and M42, a 20 minute drive from East Midlands Airport and Donington Park.
Score from 90 reviews Good
This beautifully reconstructed bakery is now a hotel, restaurant and bar, with many original features retained. Rooms with free Wi-Fi and free parking are just a 10-minute drive from highway M42.
Score from 234 reviews Excellent
Leicester North West Premier Inn is home to many useful facilities: incredibly comfy beds in every room, affordable meals and free parking. It is a quick drive from the M1.
Score from 80 reviews Very good
Opposite Southfields Park in Loughborough town centre, this Premier Inn offers modern rooms with a flat-screen TV.
Score from 273 reviews Excellent
The location was perfect for us and the room was comfortable and clean.
The breakfast could have been better. They seem to be using very cheap cooking oil and it ruined the taste of the food expecially the eggs! Only had breakfast on the first morning then decided to go elsewhere.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff Good value accommodation , food and drink Nice balance of bar ,dining room and lounge area A country pub feel Fantastic location near to Charnwood Forest and the delightful Bradgate Park Comfortable and quiet bedrooms
The public areas could do with a refurb such as new carpets
the staff were very friendly and helpful food was excellent room was clean and tidy
It was very hot weather when we stayed and the rooms became overheated and even with windows open it didnt help, a fan in the room would have been good but apart from that no issues
Location, meals and cleanliness of the hotel were above average
WiFi struggled to play any video
Very helpful friendly staff. Great pub with excellent food. The breakfast is again excellent value
The room was dated, however the bedding was very clean and freshly laundered.
We liked everything about the Fieldhead. We had a large quiet room, huge bed, luxury bathroom. Food range excellent, super quality for the price. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Outside patio area could have done with a clean up, bits of litter about.
Plenty of parking, comfy beds. Good shower Nice beer garden plenty of choice of beers
The restaurant would be lost without a microwave - and frozen chips!
Room, staff, evening meal and value all excellent. Quick cheque in and out, no surprises on the bill, the huge bed was incredible and the shower was great. A very comfy bar / dining area.
Filthy grime on the door of the men's toilets from countless hands pushing the door. Walls of room quite thin, we could hear next door's conversation in the morning.
Very friendly staff
Disappointed with room
room was clean and comfortable but in poor condition
wall light hanging off exposing bare wire.shower loose from wall spraying water everywhere. this room should not have been let 'til maintainance had been completed
We go to this hotel for 2 main reasons. 1st it's close to Ibstock and 2nd we can take a well behaved dog. The staff were great and very accommodating and by more luck than judgment we had the bridal suite. This was great as we were not in a busy part of the hotel and it was nice and quiet.
My only criticism was that the bed mattress was a bit hard for me. Otherwise we will be back.
The location was good, close to the motorway, lovely warm and cosy pub. Staff friendly.
The room could do with a makeover. The paint on the walks was discoloured, one bedside light didn't work and furniture was old.
nice large well equipped rooms helpful staff
feel the outside areas need a bit of attention
Was given a room with a very uncomfortable bed, staff quickly helped us to change rooms and new room was perfect.
Wifi was very bad in room and only worked on the bathroom.
The shower was amazing and the size of the bed was very good
Toilet seat was broken. Staff at reception took a while to acknowledge us. Bar staff overly friendly especially to childen in the bar, even though there was no-where else to go.
The bed big and comfy
Ran out of carling larger and two types of bottled cider
Bar closing early! 10;30!
Louisa the receptionist was extremely helpful and provided great customer service. Breakfast being on until 12 Noon - The Eggs Royale was really nice. Check-out at 12 Noon. The Bacon and Pulled Pork Burger.
Very comfortable bed, had a great nights sleep.
Breakfast wasn't great-overcooked sausages and oily egg, and the Welsh Rarebit from the bar menu was an unusual interpretation - grated cheese not melted, with a sludgey beige goo on top....not very nice I'm afraid.
Decor is looking a bit tired
we came on our wedding night booked in advanced for a superior got standard on our wedding night .Then we had problems with payment was told would ring back never rang back called 6 times or more very annoyed still not sure if they will over charge us or not
the only thing i liked was the position. However, i could so easily have gone somewhere else where the facilities etc would have been a lot better
The whole establishment could do with a complete deep clean, generally quite grimy and sticky. Our room was so hot and there was no fresh air (unable to open the windows) it was impossible to get a good nights sleep. In all honesty it could have been mistaken for a Wetherspoons establishment. Sorry, but i will not be returning the this hotel
Easy parking, X large room and bed (No 28), good lighting, comfortable seating, good shower over bath, on site restaurant. Pork roast of the day was good.
No one at reception when checking in. Had to walk through restaurant to bar to find someone. Ordered a rib eye steak but it looked and tasted like rump. Beef roast of the day tasted old, carrots were tasteless and waterlogged, roast potatoes were hard and Yorkshire pud tough.
This was a special stay as our son had been selected to play for England under 19 Rugby at Loughborough university, it was very last minute but perfect.
