o it was always very clean o the staff was very friendly and helpful o the rooms were large and well equipped

o sometimes it was a bit loud, when staff or guests spoke in the hall or when the TV was turned on in the breaktfast - room early in the morning

Large room, clean, comfortable bed. Bathroom modern. Good position for Motorways to West.

Difficult to find parking at rear of hotel. Had to ask for soap and shower gel. Had to pay in cash even though we had been told we could use cards.

Nanny very wecolming, lovely house restored beautifully first class room n bathroom, great area for all of bristol

Breakfast needs a bit of improvement, I would say one good sausage rather than two not so, bacon great though, beans in small dish on plate as ran throughout plate. Seperate tables for 2 or 4 as most people wamt privacy. Ex bnb owner

Exceptionally friendly welcome from Manny (apologies if the spelling is wrong) and clearly a lot of pride in what a great restoration job has been done in this lovely old building. They couldn't do enough for me. Other positives are spotless cleanliness, amazing shower, comfortable bed and lovely breakfast...personally for the money I though this place was a real gem.

If I was being picky I'd say the WIFI could have been a little better and perhaps more explanation as to how to get to the car park beforehand (which incidentally is a slight chore to get to). Please don't let this out you off though, this is a great place to stay, proving the point that reasonable doesn't have to mean compromising on quality.

Our 2nd visit - twin room was spacious and comfortable. It's at the front of the house near main road but not much traffic at night so did not disturb sleep even from me (a very light sleeper!). Beds very comfortable. All staff very friendly and helpful. Evening meal available but we decided to go to a local pub Air Balloon. (Great menu and prices but gets very busy later in the evening. Also if you go by car you have to go down a dual carriageway for about 2 miles to turn round when leaving!) We have already booked our next stay as very happy with the whole place.

We had to pay cash because their machine had no paper! Get directions before arrival as car park is round the back and the access road can be tricky to get to.

The room is brand new and it is very clean. Wi-fi is quite fast.

There is no lift so if you carry large luggage, it's not recommended. The only breakfast you should order is the typical one ( sausage, egg, etc.) podrige is basically oatmeal and pancake is not the basic one. However, the breakfast is served too early (7-8am for weekdays) and the cooked too slow. We waited for an hour. It is quite far from Bristol so you should have car.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and had everything you would need. Excellent choice of breakfast, and guest house was easy to find.

Liked everything about the guest house; however if you are v. tall don't book a room on the top floor! You may bump your head in the bathroom.

We had room 1 twin and the decor was amazing the ceilings were very well thought of. Very happy to help in any way. We had an evening meal which was lovely and I am very fussy when it comes to Chinese food. And the room and bathroom was spotless.

Not i didn't like it but could do with more 4 person tables the long tables could be a bit of a struggle.

owner-couple did their very best and were eager to please. I was full on the good, hearty breakfast. I had my doubts (on seeing the location) as to how the interior of the property but room was very clean and tidy…interior was recently refurbished and so looked good.

the location, B&B's own parking lot was part of a vast expanse that did not seem that secure. Wi-Fi details were not provided in room so had to take a photo from reception. even, then it didn't work in the room.

Nothing. Would be nice to have a clear idea of how to access the very good rear parking facility on the website.

The staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable, excellent shower pressure, and breakfast was wonderful. I wish I had known they offered chinese food at night! The food looked great! I will use them again!

Only one issue, although I had a lovely room on the ground floor, every time water was used in the rooms above me, it sounded as a torrent of water was heading my way.

Very friendly service, probably the friendliest place I have stayed in.

For this guesthouse it was very expensive and not worth the money £40 would be the about the right price in my opinion.
