The room was emasculate . Cosy and very well presented .
There was nothing to dislike about the place !
nice comfortable room, good food and ale.
room overlooking front of hotel, the gravel parking area was noisy and kept awake by the noise of people in and out of the front entrance, would only book again if room was at the rear of hotel
Comfortable, old style charm & friendly staff.
Noisy clock in the hall kept me awake all night. No shower in the bathroom so no option but to run a full bath in the morning & evening in lieu of a shower.
Theme, seclusion, comfort, and friendliness
Ticking clock in the Bedroom, and lack of Shower in Superior Suite
Lovely, cute place. Made to feel very welcome. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean, well furnished, comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice.
Doors slamming from other rooms - need to get in quiet hinges that will allow doors to close softer.
Food was very good quality - had fish and chips in the snooty fox in the evening, and breakfast the next day Lovely whirlpool bath but too cold to use it.
Internet was immensely patchy, the room was cold, should have been nervous when saw they had left a hot water bottle and little heater in there, and we had to deal with lots of small flying bugs all night Didn't ask to move as were worn out, and disn't want to repack in middle of night but be wary of the Aldaniti room. Also wanted to make some telephone calls in the afternoon, and was told couldn't sit in the lounge as they had a funeral party (one of many from what we saw) coming in, and that she could only find me a quiet space if I wanted to pay for tea or coffee, otherwise I would need to go outside ! Very wet and windy day to make my calls - not great customer service. Feel hotel is more geared up to local community than out of town visitors.
The bed was very comfortable.
The Wifi issue was a pain! I was unable to get it in my room most of the time and had to go down to the lounge! I did complain and a booster switch was turned on which helped for a short time only on both days of my stay.
Location, hotel, staff food and its a great relaxing get away love to stay there when we visit
The mattresses are a bit hard
FOOD! Dinner and breakfast were amazing! Area Staff amazing!
Room style was +/- for a premium room, but I feel they were refurbishing.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Shower very cramped, water pressure poor and took some time for hot water to come through. Dining chairs very worn and need replacing. Hotel is looking a bit tired and really needs updating.
Left a day early this had been a favourite up untill then should have received a reduced rate??
No toilet No heating
Wonderful staff Dark and quiet night Beautiful room Cissbury Iron Age hill fort
We were as a group of six for a family function in Worthing. It was very comfortable and breakfast very good.
Room was comfortable and clean Bed was comfortable Good off street parking
Being blasted by very loud music from the neighbours. We left early so can't comment on the breakfast but at 7am there was no one on reception capable of settling the account.
Stayed for one night and on that basis everything was most satisfactory. Our deluxe bedroom was comfortable. Dinner at the Snooty Fox very good, more comfort food than haute cuisine but suited our appetites that evening. Breakfast was enjoyable, decent choice and adequate portions. All the staff were attentive and helpful. Would definitely return if in the vicinity.
beautiful location within the centre of the village. The food was great and we had a very pleasant weekend with lots to see and do in the surrounding area.
Everything was brilliant the staff was very polite and a very warm welcome.
Location is excellent in Findon village just few miles from Wothing and easy access to the main road A24. The hotel grounds are very nice as is the building itself. Staff very friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast all cooked to order is first class, we had dinner in the Snooty Fox which is the hotels bar and again very pleasant meal. We had a room with four poster bed which cannot be faulted for comfort, room is well laid out and we had no issues with it at all. We will most certainly use this hotel again when visiting Worthing in the future.
atmosphere hotel and room breakfast 2 different restaurants
no place inside (garage or barn) for the bike
Friendly and responsive staff
The bathroom light and extractor fan were on all of our first night. I couldn't sleep. Staff Unavailable after 11. They changed us to a different (more superior) room when the engineer couldn't fix it. A previous guest had broken off the pull switch and not told the hotel. Breakfast not too impressive.
Lovely setting in quiet location. We had a meal with family we were visiting ,excellent food and service, lovely bedroom, good nights sleep then very good breakfast in the morning. Will stay again when we next visit.
Nothing , all was excellent.
