This country house hotel boasts free Wi-Fi and free parking less than 10 minutes’ drive from the Giant’s Causeway, a striking World Heritage Site.
Score from 108 reviews Good
Lack of customer service and inability to communicate between each other. The elusive 'owner' will not appear-even if you ask repeatedly.
Location, location, location! Right in the heart of the village. Walking distance to the shuttle to Giant's Causeway. Plenty of parking out back. Clean, cheery facilities. Pleasant and helpful staff. I liked everything about my stay.
Very friendly staff, good breakfast.
Staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable
No dinner at hotel but the restaurant Tertane around corner has fine dinning at mcdonalds prices
staff were friendly, breakfast was ok,
had to ask about wifi (code)
Rooms, helpful and friendly staff
So happy we booked this inn. The rooms were spotless. My wife mentioned she loved the way they were decorated. She also loved that she could go up to bed knowing I was just downstairs in the pub watching the football game. The pub was small but very comfortable. They do not serve food. The barman had recommended a few places within walking distance. The location was perfect. We had spent the day driving from Belfast and stops along the way. Giants Causeway was our last stop and the Inn was a short drive from there and the perfect place to spend the night. Breakfast was excellent. The owner sent us off with a few suggestions of what to see before we headed back to Belfast. We would certainly stay here again.
This pub is in a great location, close to major sights. It is fairly basic but also comfortable and clean. The staff are extremely helpful and easy to chat with. Included breakfast was good. Good parking. All in all a good place to stay as long as you aren't looking for bells and whistles.
Me and my boyfriend were really impressed with Finn MacCools, the staff gave us excellent help and advice on where to get good food, what sights we would be interested in seeing and the different ways of getting around. The room was lovely, we had a radiator to control ourselves and the shower was gorgeous as well as the bed being comfortable. Overall we had a great stay and would go back again!
The only minor problem we found was the WIFI being quite weak and the TV signal went after 11pm
The Pub/Hotel was small and basic but the peole were great. The room was clean and the bed comfortable and fine for a short stay.We had a very pleasant night in the bar and all locals and staff very friendly
Not a lot. It was fine
Friendly, helpful staff clean room Good location in walking distance to the Causeway. Nice Breakfast but sausages of poor quality. Everything else was delicious
I loved the town of Bushmills for its scenery, countryside and its location close to the Giants Causeway. I also liked the fact that the place where I was staying was named after the legendary giant Finn McCool. The place where I stayed had many different people coming in for socializing and there were plenty of stories and history being shared. This was the best part of the stay. It was amazing to see the Causeway Coast on such a fine day and also the Bushmills factory was great. I thought my trip was great value for money including the cost of food and travel.
There was no train station in Bushmills and I had to travel by taxi from Colraine to get there. There should be better transport links and a regular service going to and from these places, as it is a popular tourist destination.
Very good value, and ideal for a cycling break
We liked the staff as they were so friendly and nothing was a bother to them. Location was good . Craic was good in bar.
Very comfortable pub and guest house very clean rooms, staff friendly and breakfast excellent would recommend it to anyone.
Enjoyed having to drive not so far to see the castles and nature. Met people from various countries in the bar below. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. Would definitely return to Finn MacCool.
Friendly and very helpful staff
A great little place to stay, All the staff are fantastic Lee, Raymond and Tracy and very welcoming. There's no food in the bar but they are more than happy for you to eat your take away in and even provided plates (Flash in the Pan has the best fish & chips I've had for a long time) Had a great time in the bar that night chatting away to the locals, everyone is super friendly. Breakfast the next morning was so good, the full fry-up kept me going for the rest of the day. Had a good chat with Tracy while eating breakfast and she is a great guide as was telling me about lots of places to visit. I was only staying for the one night but wish it had have been for longer, will definitely be back
everything, lovely place,a home from home, a mouth watering breakfast, excellent staff i would love to be part of my family.
Owners,welcome,breakfast,location and locals
Bar is a bit basic
Staff was friendly and very helpful. They carried our bags up the stairs. Breakfast was everything one would expect plus.
Room was somewhat small. No place to store luggage, we had to use the window sill for one bag and pushed together two lamp stands to place the other bag.
It was our first visit to Ireland but obviously not long enough. The people are so friendly and welcoming. Finn Mac Cools was a family run bar and hotel, we only stayed one night but what a night!!.... Fab entertainment and hostility. Fantastic value for money.
The staff were very friendly Cleanliness of the room
Excellent location for travel along the Causeway Coast. The owners were extremely helpful with suggestions and area information.
Very few restaurants in town for dinner. Offering pub grub for residents would have been helpful.
