Cancellation
If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Deposit
100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
Bowness and Windermere villages are also worth exploring, with all sorts of interesting shops, and many places to wine and dine yourself.
Further afield, but still within the Lake District National Park, you will find places such as Grasmere (home to William Wordsworth), Ambleside, Coniston, Hawkshead and Keswick, each of which has its own unique charm.
Please note that the guest house is regretfully unable to accept any arrivals after 20:00.
Minimum Stays:
Please note that when booking there is a minimum stay of 2 nights, and 3 nights during public holidays.
Payment Information:
The guest house does not accept American Express cards.
Smoking:
All areas of the Firgarth are non-smoking. The guest house reserves the right to charge an extra night’s stay (at the prevailing bed and breakfast rate and using the credit card given to secure the booking) if they have to especially clean and air the room for 24 hours before another guest can occupy it.
Please note that the Firgarth is a guest house and, whilst high standards are offered, it is important to remember that it is not a hotel.

THe owners was very welcomeing and informative on the surrounding areas and places of interest and they couldnt have been any nicer. The room was very clean and to a high standard. the faigarth is situated within a short distance of alot of places. |

The owners Colin and Pam are very friendly and helpful. They give you a lovely cup of tea when you arrive. The room was spotless. Good size room with comfy bed. Our room overlooked the main road so could have benefited from better double glazing although it's pretty quiet at night, so not a huge problem. |
