Best Western Fir Grove Hotel  

Its location - we were attending a family party in Stockton Heath. Free and plentiful parking

Room was very small and there was no hot water in the shower. Plus, we were made to move from our seats in the lounge to accommodate guests from a wedding party

Great value and better rooms than a Travelodge or Premier Inn!

The receptionist was very polite and professional.

The function we attended was outstanding, couldnt fault it.

The room was like a single room with a double bed in it, couldnt walk down either side of the bed, we had to turn sideways on to get down the sides and the radiator was on my side and burnt myself on it a few times, the bath panel was also hanging off, my partner pushed it back in but it was off again a few hours later, bed was extreamly uncomfortable and it was the worst nights sleep we both had in years, we were up and checked out by 8am...very very dissapointed and will not be staying there again

The function room was lovely, and the food was of a good standard, however I would not stay the night there again (see below).

I booked a standard executive room but due to some "computer error", all of those rooms were already allocated and I had to make do with a standard double. I did have a complimentary bottle of wine by way of an apology, but I was still very dissatisfied. I would rather have had the room that I booked. The standard double is a very pokey room; just one foot diameter either side of the bed making it feel quite claustrophobic. The bathroom was outdated and in a poor state of repair. When I booked the on-line deal I had for standard exec room was £84 (hotel price was £94) but when the hotel was unable to provide my room they charged me the same price for the standard double (that was their hotel rate for standard double) The function room was lovely, and the food was of a good standard, however I would not stay the night there again.

Barely satisfactory

Food was substandard. Dinner almost inedible.

Bar and Food prices that of a 5 star hotel however the hotel is little more than a 3 star and certain ly could do with an update

The staff where very friendly warming and welcoming.Rooms was spotless.

Na ...Although I understand the leaving your room at 11.00 this would be much better if the departure time was 12.00

Were able to accomadate an elderly adult in our room, which would hav ve been a problem for us if she had to stay in a separate room.

No lifts available to take the elderly adult travelling with us up to our room.

Expensive charge for room service bath wasnt that clean
