Loved the teddy on the bed. Beautiful room. Very clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable - I usually get back ache in hotel beds but was fine in yours. Thanks Actual position. Went for a walk - surroundings not at inspiring. Maybe warn people to take car - give a map with good places to visit within a 5 minute car drive. They must be there - just not within walking distance of the hotel.

We liked the Best Western fir Grove Hotel for its location, as its situated between Manchester & Liverpool. We had booked this hotel for a shopping weekend in Liverpool, and the Fir Grove wasn't far from the M62. The room which we had was an Executive Double Room, and was very clean and tidy. It cost us £128 for 2 nights. Also there is a Pub a mile from the Fir Grove called the Springbrook, and its great for meals, drinks and entertainment. The only downside is the Car Park. It will hold probably 30-50 cars, but the hotel had 2 functions on this weekend and entertained over 300 guests. We were early and was lucky to gain a car parking spot, but I could envisage other customers being not so lucky.

The front of the hotel has been refurbished and looks very nice how a hotel should. The food was very good and the staff were nice The corridors and the room were very dated and smaller than you would expect for a standard room. The room had yellow wall paper which was black and peeling around the ceiling there were also shiney yellow nets at the windows then to mach the tobacco colour of yellow there were plum curtains which looked like the only new thing in there. The furniture was also dated and our door didn't shut properly and again very dated old wooden door

Staff very helpful, produced maps and directions for address in Bury. Food in restaurant good. Room was fine for one night, check out was quick for all of our group. Had to wait a few minutes to be served at the bar. No real ales on sale, even bottled ones would be ok

Pleasant receptionist, nice room. Evening meal rather ordinary. Price too high - looking to stay quite often in Warrington, but your price does not reflect the offering.

There was not much I did like. I was very disappointed, in comparaison of theBest Western i stayed in last year, the one in Bournemouth. I found it very old fashioned, cheap, not comfortable (bed - matrass- and the sheets, too short!); the breakfast was not good at all, in comparaison with last year I didn't get the room I booked either. I booked an executive room, and I was given a standard! Anyway, I was so disappointed, that I didn't even say anything about this!

Location and acces Room no ready and given key for a room that had not been serviced. Used bed linen and dirty towels. Complaint to reception and wait while another room was prepared. Had to negotiate corridors strewn with linen and cleaning materials both mid afternoon on arrival and early morning on departure Loud music played through the night until 6 am. This hotels management has a problem.

Amazing service from restaurant, amazing food and a superbly presented hotel. How it can be done for not much more than a soulless Holliday Inn is a mystery to me! If I'm being super critical, maybe some left over 60s features from what must of been the old hotel, ie room doors, banisters etc. My room was way way too hot as well!

Coulden't buy a sandwich at 5-30 pm. As "the staff were serving a wedding" the room has cob webs hanging from the ceiling, which did'ent help my asthma.(room needed re-furbishing) the drink was dear at £3.75 per pint of carlsberg finally after losing a key we were charged £50. this would not happen in a decent hotel which would have a card system installed.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Klaris who at reception could not have welcomed us or looked after us any better. Nothing, unless you consider that drinks were expensive.
