Very efficient check in by charming young lady on reception. Room was very comfortable with good facilities. It was a bit noisy as we were in room 1. But this is to be expected as we were at a staff Christmas party and there were other parties going on so a bit of noise was to be acceptable. No complaints personally but I do know that some of our party thought their rooms were very cold and could not get the heating to work.

The function room was lovely, and the food was of a good standard, however I would not stay the night there again (see below). I booked a standard executive room but due to some "computer error", all of those rooms were already allocated and I had to make do with a standard double. I did have a complimentary bottle of wine by way of an apology, but I was still very dissatisfied. I would rather have had the room that I booked. The standard double is a very pokey room; just one foot diameter either side of the bed making it feel quite claustrophobic. The bathroom was outdated and in a poor state of repair. When I booked the on-line deal I had for standard exec room was £84 (hotel price was £94) but when the hotel was unable to provide my room they charged me the same price for the standard double (that was their hotel rate for standard double) The function room was lovely, and the food was of a good standard, however I would not stay the night there again.

A Little dated, but clean and comfy. The day staff were very friendly. I know things are expensive these days, but for £69 I thought we should have had breakfast included in that price.

Fixtures and fittings are first class, my bedroom was quite small and compact, but well equiped, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, food was good enough, the dbb can end up being a little on the high side.

Staff friendly. Reception area was very attractive Would not stay again. Rooms very tired and in serious need of decorating. Peeling pain and wallpaper, mould on tiles, TV remote didn't work, tiny room. Just grotty in general, although reception area looked very plush in comparison

Were able to accomadate an elderly adult in our room, which would hav ve been a problem for us if she had to stay in a separate room. No lifts available to take the elderly adult travelling with us up to our room.

Unfortunatly the Chef had injured his hand and was unable to provide us with a meal on the Sunday evening. We were offered the use of a taxi to go elsewhere but decided to walk to a Cantenise restraunt who provided us with an excellent meal.

Friendly helpful staff except at reception when we first arrived. Did not know anything about our booking. The food was of a much higher standard thN I expected. Gourmet dinner. Although the furnishings in the bar and restaurant were attractive and elegant it was extremely dark even in the morning when the sun was shining.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful at all times. We ate in on both of the nights we stayed and the food was delicious. The room was decorated in a modern style , which was very nice. The hotel is in a village near to Warrington and close to all road networks. Easy to get to Dunham Massey Hall (national trust) Tatton Park and 30mins from Cheshire Oaks for shopping. The bed was very comfortable. Chose superior room which was very nice but the plumbing left a lot to be desired. The bath started to fill up when I had a shower( bath and shower at the same time) The toilet did not flush properly and the shower screen had black mould along the bottom (a tooth brush and some domestos would have done the trick) The hotel has weddings at weekends so very lively but did not disturb us.

The friendly staff are a real asset; they are helpful and make one feel very welcome. The food was good although a bit pricey. The bar/lounge area was well spaced and appointed - provided a nice alternative to staying in ones room all evening. No gym or pool. Rooms should have ironing facilities the hotels laundry collection outside my room was an unexpected wakeup call; although it would have been better if it had beed a bit later - 7am as opposed to 5am!

Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, fresh and a good variation. The main part of the Hotel, reception, dining rooms, bar etc wonderfully decoration and modern, but I hope the bedroom are next on the list for upgrade. Bathrooms desperately need modernising and the rooms are far, far too warm, even with the window wide open.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful particularly the young lady on reception who had only been with the company a short time. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. We stayed in an executive room and thought it was good value for money. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and as much as ypou wanted to eat. The hotel is very close to Stockton Heath which is a lovely little town with some unusual shops and lots of cafes and restaurant. We will defimitely use this hotel again.
