Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very nice with fresh fruit and plenty of choice. Room was compact but had everything you would need for a short visit. The beds were made with sheets and blankets rather than duvets.

The food was very good The hotel is somewhat dated but not scruffy or dirty, it's very clean but the decor is dated and is like being in a different era! I was upgraded apparently but to be honest, the upgraded room is what I would of expected from a standard room.

Staff were kind and helpful (and fellow guests). My husband had a short illness and they seemed understanding It is a simple hotel for people using Luton Airport mainly. It has no special graces and does not pretend to have them. It is useful for an overnight stay.

Although evidently not set up for children (no highchairs), they weren't phased by my 1 year old daughter. A previous guest had clearly had flowers in the room and the dirty vase was left in the room - at an ideal height for my 1 year old daughter to "investigate"

Convenient location for wedding attended in Hitchin. Wouldn't want to stay for more than a couple of nights as walls are paper thin. Could be noisy if guests are arriving late.

Convenient for purpose. Breakfast very good. Could do with a bit of an update!! Especially the beds with really old blankets and the pillows could do with a change. The reception area and carpets could do with a makeover to brighten the place up.
