They have rooms for 4 adults to share which was good. The hot water came out of the cold tap and vice versa. There was no lock on the bathroom door. Doors etc were a bit grubby, could have done with a wipe down to rid of rhe dirt marks. The whole b&b smelled of indian food from reception right up to the rooms, had to leave the windows open from the moment we got there. The 'full English breakfast' consisted of one egg, one sausage, one slice of bacon and a tim of beans which they had shared between 4 people. Luckily they gave us a few slices of toast too as we were starving.

The location i very convenient if you want to go to the city cente - just 3 minutes' walk to the Undergraund (thoug ittakes around 40 minures to get to the Oxford Circus) REceptionist was nice and ordered a taxi for me for early morning. Everything was nice until the morning... I found 2 bed-bugs in my bed!!!! I was shoked... I literally needed 5 minutes to get conscious. Can't believe I spent 5 hours in bed full of those insects :(

Its location - we were staying overnight on account of a flight home from Heathrow Airport the next day. The cooked breakfast was also excellent. The bathroom!!! Firstly, the water pressure in the handbasin was unacceptably low, then there was the malfunctioning shower! Despite our numerous attempts, iIt was impossible to get a steady stream of water at a constant temperature, we either had cold or scalding water.

The frontage was well maintained, The room was light , There was a fridge and tea making facitlies, The staff were pleasant' The bathroom fan didn't work, The full english breakfast was cold, The dining room was cramped to uncomfortable. It would lend itself better to round tables.

Though far from central London, yet was located close to Tube Station and market. It was an old house converted to a lodge. The staff was very nice and helpful. Backyard of the house was also good. The rooms were very very small and was difficult to stay in along with your luggage. Bathrooms were made inside the rooms, too congested, with no place to hang even towel or place your tooth brush. There was no arrangements for food in the lodge. I had to stay one night as I had already booked it through booking.com but left the next morning. The worst thing was the demand of owner for one day extra rent as they claimed that booking.com will charge them 25% of the money.

I can honestly say the inn keepers for this lodge really cared about my opinion. They moved my family from one room to another in order get us better wireless reception. They wanted to be at the front door when we left. For a family hitting London during Wimbelton week it was a reasonable set of accommodations at a reasonable price. The location of the hotel was just down the street from a tube station about 45 minutes from downtown London. It was also very convenient to Heathrow Airport. I have stayed in three hotels in the outskirts of London over the last 10 years. All of them had relatively small rooms. The Firs was no exception. We had a room for four which was great, but the bathroom was more like a closet.

Convenient location for Heathrow. Also very close to a tube station. The room was OK for a 1-night stay and ticked all the important boxes for me. In particular, it had off-street parking and didn't charge for this. Helpful staff - the guy at the reception carried my suitcase upstairs. The rooms, including the bathrooms, are old and in need of refurbishment, but then the price would increase. My room faced away from the road, but otherwise it could be noisy from the traffic.

Very welcoming people. Familiar atmosphere. Very comfortable beds. Cheap b&B. Goog price and quality rapport. Noise from aircrafts. 45Mins from centre of london. Some parts of carpet needs to be changed or wall painting done. But in general I woul recommend the place.

The family running this Hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is just a minutes walk from the tube station which was perfect for getting in to London. Although initially unsure of the area my concerns were quickly dispelled and we had a very lovely stay. The off street parking was particularly useful and this was lit over night which offered extra security. The decor is a little dated but perfectly serviceable.
