Everything was excellent, shops pubs and entertainment were right on the door step.Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly highly recommend
Could not think of any
Location excellent dinner at hotel was lovely staff were courteous
Room was dated although large breakfast was pretty awful. very poor selection of prepared fruits for breakfast, dull selection of bread and pastries, cooked breakfast was basic. the waiting staff were very good but let down by the food and the 1970s decor and carpets!
Staff were very friendly especially the we dram on arrival. James
The friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we encountered. Very clean. Very good food.
Room was a bit hot during the night.
The location of the hotel is excellent, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean, tidy and well presented. Breakfast was amazing with everything you could want. The girl serving behind the bar was fantastic and needs to be congratulated on her excellent customer service.
Evening bar meal had to be returned as the macaroni was tasteless, however this was swiftly replaced by steak pie which was delicious.
The location of the hotel is great and the bedrooms are nicely furnished, and has a comfortable bed and everywhere is spotlessly clean.
The only thing we could say was regarding the heating. The room was lovely and warm but unfortunately the heating was on all night so it was very hot and we were unable to sleep. The 2nd night the heating was off from early on and didn't come back on at all, so room was chilly in the morning.
could not fault , everything was good ,staff went out of the way to help, nice sherry on arrviveal x
situation in middle of town and friendly staff ,sherry on arrival ! good value for money
breakfast time! waiting in line was horrendous.toast machines no good .
Made us welcome with a wee dram Location Parking
Helpfulness of the staff, very friendly & welcoming, making our stay very relaxing & enjoyable. The complimentary drink on arrival was a lovely gesture. We had stayed before but this visit noticed a great improvement in the food & hotel.
The weather! Rained on all our days, but didn't stop us climbing Ben Vrackie! The bar adjoining the hotel could be better, lacking atmosphere & staff not as friendly as hotel.
location is excellent staff helpful and enjoyed the theatre
Welcome on arrival with complementary Whiskey My room: although only a single bed it was extremely comfortable. Also very modern and bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. Breakfast had a great selection, hot and cold.
Cannot think of anything.
The Welcoming glass of whiskey, the Christmassy feel, the excellent breakfast and the general warm atmosphere. The location too is ideal for a stay in an interesting area.
The lady behind the reception desk was warm, friendly and very professional. Clean bedding and towels.
Overall standard of the room: - stains on the wall - dust on the top of the headboard - dirt around the drain of the bath - dirt on the pipe that attached to the shower head - breakfasts were under cooked
The room was far too small for a double and the double bed was too small!
Good room with comfy bed, good restaurant service and good food. Good lift service, and comfy lounge.
Poor car parking for size of hotel.
Location comfort and friendly staff
inadequate parking poor choice on dinner menu front door constantly being left open by people If sitting in front lounge freezing
Adjacent to lift shaft
Welcome, friendly staff, variety of seating areas to have a read, drink, chat with friends. Despite the numbers the hotel was fairly quiet ensuring a decent sleep.
Appreciate the probability of not always getting a parking space at the hotel although the street signs indicating limited waiting time appear almost antiquated with no signs of wardens throughout our stay!
The room was nice, the bed was very good.
Greggs delivery van at 5am. I realise that its maybe a listed building, but secondary glazing would give it top marks.
Poor WiFi in rooms.
The convenient location in the centre of town. The cleanliness of both the room and the hotel.
Staff pleasant and very helpful; the food, and the wee dram to welcome us in!
A breakdown in communication: when we came to our room, we found the door wedged open and wouldn't close fully- a wee bit too late, we discovered that there was wet paint on the frame (no notice). Staff very honest about it, and apologetic; replacement room supplied.
General appearance of the hotel was good. Perfect location for the train station. Breakfast was good.
The room was cold no heating. A heater was brought but I felt it should have been checked beforehand. My Fathers room was nice but the bathroom had been left in a terrible state. Again it was sorted but felt it should not have happened. The staff on reception were a little curt when answering questions but could have been down to not having enough staff on.
The meal we had was very good and the rooms were clean and comfortable
When we ordered the wine along with our meal it did not arrive we had to remind them. The was eventually delivered after we were finished our meal
