Very good,
Score from 565 reviews
“ From the moment I arrived there I had very good experiences there. My room was on the top floor and even though it was right beside the lift I could barely hear it (actually had to strain to hear it) and for a single person it was a good size room. ”

The town centre location. Breakfast (when it arrives!). The bar and communal areas were relaxing. The shower. DO NOT book room 167 (and I assume rooms 67 and 267). Creaking floorboards in ceiling and under foot make a racket!! Not good for light sleepers. When busy at breakfast, it takes too long to be served. 3* hotel with 2* rooms. Very basic. I heard a few people moan about the beds being either too hard or too soft. Antique crt tv.

Restaurant staff were excellent. Good location. Lounge and bar area were pleasant Food, poor choice. The haddock in cheese sauce was tough and dry. The mattresses on the twin beds were awful, could feel every spring, had to sleep on duvet. Complained about the mattress, to remedy it staff placed 2 bath towels between mattress and top sheet! Lighting in bathroom was dismal. Shower head kept slipping down.

Location. Room size. Cooked breakfast was poor quality. We had to take cutlery and things from other tables. Room & hotel generally was stiflingly hot. No hot water throughout hotel at 7pm on Sat night. Staff said it was down to everyone showering at the same time! Bedding was stained. Glad I wasn't paying the going rate.

The location of the hotel is very good, on the main street in Pitlochry. The reception staff were very helpful in providing information about the local area. The room was reasonable given the price. We dined in the restaurant on our first night and found it a bit rushed. We were given our bill after the main course when we had asked for a rest between courses. It was then presented again after dessert before we were given the option of having coffee. The floor in the corridor on the first floor is quite uneven in places.

It was nice to be greeted with a complimentary drink. The bar was comfortable, prices reasonable and the barman friendly and helpful. Although central the hotel was very quiet. Good choices for breakfast. Car parking was a bit difficult - the car park seems to have shrunk since our last visit.

friendly, relaxing, welcome drink very thoughtful. nothing too much trouble . excellent food varied menu . we had b+b and dinner. we will be back soon. central + plenty to do in area. meals available from 12noon - 9pm +set meals aswell.very clean facilities, very quiet although in the middle of the town. well worth the visit.fully booked when we were there. young +old +families.lovely gardens.train station to rear of hotel excellent. the hotel is going through a upgrade so is still old and new.alot of money is being spent on it.the front is still to be done which you can see + you can smell the paint in some places. but do not be put off by this as it is well worth.

Friendly welcome, clean rooms. Have stayed at Fisher's Hotel on previous occasions and always found it to be excellent value and good service. The bar next door is welcoming and the food is good, add the very central location and Fisher''s is definitely a must if you are visiting Pitlochry.

The room we were staying in had a nice view and the location was excellent. The double bedroom we were staying in had two single beds pushed together so wasn't very comfortable. The room was also very cold from a draft from the windows.
