Flexible - arrived just as restaurant was closing - but they kept it open for us. Good in house entertainment. Room very nice, no complaints really.

The food was the best part of the stay. We dined in the restaurant and the meal and menu choice was very good. Inattentive restaurant staff - most but not all.

Nothing. This has to be one of the worst hotels and experiences ever. I would strongly recommend that you remove this hotel from your listings. It is run down, shoddy, and frankly I would rate it as being a disgrace. The room was cold unwelcoming the floor sloped to the door where there was a 3 inch gap under one side of the door. The wardrobe was propped up with a 3 inch block of wood at one end to keep it level. The kettle kept going on and off by itself. The tiny little T.v would not change channels giving you only chanel 4 which you could hardly see as it was about 15 feet away. The bathroom was awful, small in size with condensation marks all over the walls. The shower ran cold and when I raised this with reception staff I was told "yes it takes 20 minutes for this to run hot"...... Sorry but that is just not good enough.. Handing over keys to room they know full well will take 20 mins for the shower to run hot should be part of - Things you need to know. I informed the reception that I was not happy and that the room was awful and could I have another as we were staying for 2 nights but this was merely met with a blank look and if you just let the shower run it will get hot and sorry but it was the only room available.... Not... Happy I .returned to my awful room to prepare for the family wedding later that day or I would have booked out Everything... We booked this hotel as our nephew was getting married and some of our family and friends were saying here. The whole hotel is in a state of disrepair, shoddy and .run down. The carpets are worn dirty and stained throughout the hotel and in the rooms. The walls are bare, paint is peeling off in large areas and on going to my rrom I tripped and fell over a large piece of carpet that was raised on the first floor. No signs of trying to tape the worn raised carpet down were evident or any warnings in place. This is a direct breach of health and safety. I now have a large bruise on my knee and possibly think I have damaged my knee cap as I cannot kneel or put any pressure on it. Upon going down for breakfast we were told by the waiter to wait in the lounge as no tables were available. There were approx 12 other people in the large dinning room that had approx 30 tables all of which had been used and still had the dirty dishes on thm where 1 waiter appeared to clearing up. To my amazement a couple walked passed us and proceeded to sit down at a table and were served breakfast We were quickly seated after I complained to a waitress that happened to pass at this time..I Informed reception on booking out that I was not happy and would be submitting a review and they appeared uninterested and frankly rude. The cleaning staff that I saw were dressed in joggers and trainers...does that not tell what impression this hotel has left on me. Not for the faint hearted this hotel.

Central position in Pitlochry, plenty of parking spaces, clean, bright room, comfy bed, good hot shower, friendly staff Visit was marred by rooms location. Room was next to lift shaft. Noise kept me awake until after 1.00 in the morning and then it woke me early when it started again just after 6.00. staff said they were unaware that lift noise was a problem. Breakfast was not the greatest. Bacon dry and overcooked, black pudding soggy. Had to ask for drinking water as none was available with the other breakfast drinks.

I have now stayed at Fisher's Hotel a number of times to attend the Pitlochry Festival Theatre. The best thing about the hotel is that the bus stops at the front door and it is in the middle of the town! The hotel is under new management and changes are being made. I am really looking forward to going back again next year to see the transformation. It is in one of the best situations in Scotland. I have no complaints about the hotel this time. The atmosphere has improved and I think the hotel will now go from strength to strength when the words gets out.

Free, convenient parking. Very good breakfast Wasn't warned that hotel is undergoing redecoration/refurbishment. Dust sheets everywhere, wet gloss paint everywhere. Poor lighting in the bar. Dinner was dire.

The staff were very friendly. The day we arrived it had just been snowing and it was very cold outside-our room was very warm, comfortable and cosy and looked like it had just been painted rencently. The shower could do with an upgrade but there was plently of hot water. We couldn't fault anything else.

Good location in centre of Pitlochry, friendly reception staff Generally slightly tatty feeling, renovations going on; dining room staff at breakfast a bit surly; A sked for twin room with extra bed for 3 friends travelling together; we got a double with an extra bed, even though the bed in the room could have been separated into two - a bit annoying.

Efficiency of staff and the Hotel cleanliness as it was clear they were redecorating. The mattress was ridiculous, kept us awake and gave us sore backs. The smoke detector/sprinkler were wrapped up in masking tape. We mentioned that at the reception and it was removed for us. We have said we would recommend the hotel but we would mention the mattress.

The front deak staff The hotel is obviously being upgraded, but room should not be used until they have been finished. My room the toilet floor was not finished and the room floor near the window was uneven and had something under the carpet. Wifi would have been useful. The front desk staff were very good, but I cannot say the same about the resturant staff, a smile would have been nice and being pleasant cost nothing. We waited 30 mins for our breakfast and not even an apology or a reason we were just forgotten, maybe becouse we were not in a group!. I will give this hotel a few years to see if improves since there is a new owner and the work is taking a while. I think closing for a few weeks getting all the work done and a grand opening might have been a better idea
