Me and my g/f stayed there for 3 nites,on the12feb 2012 the rooms were lovely and very clean, despite reveiws we had read before, the breakfast was excellent, towels provided everyday and the staff very helpful,we really enjoyed our stay and would definately reccomend it for couples singles or whatever,we were just bed and breakfast so dont know what the evening meals were like, the kingfisher bar in the hotel was good and the drinks were.nt expensive, ohhhhhh and the car park is right next to the hotel, unlike a couple in a reveiw who said it was a long walk from hotel to car park, the max was 50 yards, still there is always some people who are never happy and have just got to moan, there was a bit of work going on outside and some paintwork inside but nothing to worry about....... Everything was just fine......

I liked the location, right in the middle of the main street, the attached pub was very rowdy There was a problem with our booking and they had to book us in and cancel the booking I had made however it would cost us £20 more, we were then put in a small room with no view, over looking a flat roof. We were then woken up at 8.30am on the sunday morning with a fire drill and had to stand outside for 20 mins.

Gorgeous hotel and rooms. Very clean and even though the hotel was busy the rooms were very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast in the morning was lovely as well. Will definitely be using again and would recommend. Car parking difficult to find even after getting very vague directions off the receptionist. When we sat down for breakfast the waitress wandered off without explaining that someone would take our order for a cooked breakfast or that we could help ourselves to cereal from the buffet.

close to town centre and rail station the room was a bit of a left over space which housed large noisy pipes for the movement of water, located high up on the wall.

Decent location You get what you pay for, meals ok, service good staff seemed keen to help, engage in conservation. Room was a let down, decor old- carpet old- bed really uncomfortable. Shower was a challenge either freezing cold water, or scalding hot, just a fraction of a turn on the tap would send it one way or the other. However £50 half board as I said you get what you pay for. I would use again, in the knowledge that my expectations were not raised.

The hotel has recently been refurbished and the decor just captures the Victorian period feel. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and the staff are so helpful and polite. I was travelling with my elderly father and they were so attentive towards us. The emphasis is on comfort- comfortable beds, squashy sofas in the lounge, cushions! I could have stayed there for a week, relaxing, reading. Perfect! Great food too. I also stayed here during the Pitlochry Winter Words Festival as a solo traveller and it was lovely too.

Decent accomodation for a decent price. Pretty good food and service Upon arrival they could find no booking for me via your website. The 84 pounds quoted ended up at 90 pounds but at least they had a room.

We have stayed there before and this time we noticed a distinct improvement in the hotel, the outside has had a facelift and the inside has been cleaned up. The staff were, as always, very helpful.

The hotel has recently been taken over and the new owners have been making an effort to smarten it up. The bedroom had been freshly decorated. The breakfast and dinner were good with a large choice of items. The staff were very helpful - one morning there was a rush at breakfast and the staff were actually running to and from the kitchen to ensure that people were served as quickly as possible.

The staff were very friendly and everyone was so helpful. My room was large and had recently been decorated. There was a bar and lounge and you can get bar meals at a reasonable price if you do not wish to dine in the restaurant. The location is fabulous. Right in the town centre and cpose to many wonderful walks! I will definatly stay here again

The rooms were very quiet The breakfast was not available. After waiting 30 minutes for our hot breakfast, we left without receiving our meal. The bathtub had mildew on it. The children's shower was not functional so they came to our room to use an excellent shower.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and obliging. The hotel was clean, Food was excellent. Room was clean, comfortable. It was in right location for the purpose of my journey. I will return. This is not a complaint just for information purposes; the heating in the room was very intense at first, we had to turn it off . The reception on television was not good.
