Great nights sleep. Very comfortable bed. Two comfortable lounges. Breakfast bought in each morning and a dog and cat to pat. Felt like home.. To be thoroughly recommended
The swing doors to the shower room. It was impossible to get thru quietly.
Ideal B&B for peace and quiet with quality
Peace and quietness Warm hospitaily of the Owners Quirky character Rural outlook
Small TV The bed bounced to much Pillows Lack of sheet & blanket to replace duvet.
We stayed at Litte Barn for 2 nights and were delighted with the accommodation and location. Very quaint rustic finising touches and we look forward to visiting the tranquil Little Barn again,
Nothing not to like.
Loved everything, great place to stay for a romantic time, Jenny & Jim looked after us so well, will return as soon as we can
Nothing to dislike here at all, so peaceful and cannot fault anything
> The whole experience > The eye for detail > The quirkiness of the barn and it's fixtures & fittings > Lovely environment > In the heart of the New Forest yet with a fantastic pub just down the road & Lyndhurst a short drive away > Lovely breakfast
> Great selection of DVDs provided but the telly could be bigger
We were made very welcome and had a great stay. We will def recommend to friends and hope to return again next year- breakfast was very yummy
Outstanding venue with stunning views and extremely helpful owners. A highly desirable place to stay with fantastic food and wonderful attention to detail. Highly recommended.
Cannot fault it.
Everything from the location to the cutest breakfast was wonderful. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you.
Would highly recommend to anyone. We had a wonderful time, very relaxing.
We liked everything Jenny was wonderful, the breakfasts were to die for, every day a different treat was left for us and on the last day we had about 4 treats. The yoghurt and berries for breakfast I'll remember for ever, and my husband loved the cooked breakfast. We fell in love with Tilly and Maple, we fell in love with everything and will go back Can't praise it enough. Jenny and Jim, are lovely people, and have a wonderful place.
Would have liked to be able to get a mobile signal and maybe wifi, but otherwise there was nothing you could fault.
A very warm welcome on arrival. Overall it was an enjoyable and relaxing stay.
We had a brilliant week away at Fishpond Piece. The barn and it's surroundings where beautiful! Both Jim and Jen have been lovely and we look forward to returning again in the future!
The peace and quiet -wonderful location. The beautifully appointed apartment and the friendly atmosphere. Jenny and Jim are ideal hosts.
The fact that we are unable to go there every weekend!
This was our first stay at Fishpond Piece Farm and we were not dissapointed one bit. Jenny and Jim our hosts were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel so at home in an instant. The Little Barn was beautiful, exceptionally clean and tidy. The location was fantastic and i am running out of positive adjectives to use to say how happy we were to stay there. The breakfasts were wonderfully tasty, the little touches in the accomodation were lovely and we loved it so much we have re-booked again. The peace and tranquility of the farm and gardens were beautiful. I am sure we will return year after year from now on to Little Barn as it will now be the only place for us to stay in the New Forest. Thank you Jenny and Jim for a wonderful break.
I just cannot find any fault whatsoever !
lovely hosts who we're accommodating and helpful
This was our second visit to Fishpond Piece Farm and we can't wait to return. We would not consider staying anywhere else whilst visiting the New Forest - it's just brilliant!
A wonderful long weekend getaway. Beautifully appointed barn easy walking distance into the village and only a bit further into Lyndhurst for any essentials and our hosts couldn't do enough to accomodate us. The extra personal touches are what made this trip so special... can't recommend it highly enough!
Struggling to think of anything!
hosts were lovely, location was perfect, the studio/room was very private and felt like a home away from home, definitely go back
It was a little peace of heaven, clean, cosy and so many surprises. the owners went beyond what was necessary to ensure everything was perfect. This is our second visit and we will be back.
Couldn't find any negatives.
On arrival we were greeted by the owner, who admittedly was not very welcoming. He treated us as we were a nuisance - maybe guests are a disturbance, but they pay! This really spoiled our stay. The room was penetrated with a strong chemical smell (wood impregnation?), which was there throughout our stay - VERY unpleasant. Breakfast - you need to pay £5 for cooked breakfast, otherwise only continental breakfast available (it was lovely, but proper English breakfast is a traditional part of B&B!) I ordered egg on muffin, which according to the menu was £2.50, but was charged £3. The place supposed to have bicycles - when we asked we were told that they are very poor. We insisted - indeed they are not usable - the worst thing is that the landlord didn't even bother to pump the tires - we were expected to cycle on completely flat tires! If you don't provide bicycles - do not mention them in your offer!
We loved the location, privacy and the attention to detail. Overall I would recommend this lovely place to anybody.
Jenny& Jim were welcoming and the place was fantastic. The breakfast was amazing.little barn is a little peace of heaven and a one off.
Everything! We were made to feel so welcome, attention to detail was outstanding.
