Distance between room and toilet (3 floors apart) One only toilet and one only shower for the whole building.
I liked the location, getting your own front door key and the very reasonable price the breakfast was good as well .
The hotel needs a spruce up as does the room and bathroom. I was unable to turn the radiator down which was boiling hot,I slept with the window open. I would stay again for the price and breakfast
expansive，but nothing good. i will never choose this.
Location. Staff were extremely friendly and accomodating
The heat in the room was extreme. The radiators were on all night and the heat was stifling even with the window open. But they turned them off upon request
the room was tiny the bathroom was dirty the room was cold the electrical fittings were dangerous
Staff. Except night porter, who didn't seem really to care about anything, and was on the wi-fi in the kitchen whenever I saw him.
I got a single room with "shared bathroom." My room was on the top floor. The "bathroom" was IN THE BASEMENT 4 FLOORS DOWN. This alone means going to the loo was a climb up and down - and for me negated the whole purpose of a "shared bathroom." It was/is insane. They should put a bathroom in on the second floor at least - but I imagine are more interested in making money than customer stay. Sadly I will never ever stay there again because of this sole reason. If they even SAID that the loo was a trek down to the basement that would have been something. But a shared bathroom where you have to climb up and down the whole building - to be honest - because the other rooms are just as high with no bathroom - I imagine many of the sinks become urinals for the male guests - as I heard NO ONE ELSE going up and down the stairs to take a pee - and I could hear anyone who use the stairs from my room. So INCONVENIENT and POTENTIALLY unhygenic.
only the staff ,daytime,. and the situation close to the area we wanted to be,.
nite staff male agressive!! all the hotel very hot ,no control on the heating. broken shower, no plug in washhand basin,no glass in the washroom! impossible to fill kattle only by use of a cup.breakfast very poor, the price £228 for two nights, was far to much for this place, would never stay in this place in the future,.all is very, very run down, people take note please,..
Very convenient for Euston station
Very dilapidated. Breakfast poor quality.
great location unbelieveable price for london polite, helpful staff [very un-London]
Staff very helpful Breakfast good
Whilst clean needs a bit of updating looking very tired
Do not arrive late. I advised the hotel I would not be arriving until 11 p.m. I was left outside in the rain for 20 minutes. I rang the bell phoned but all to no avail. Eventually another guest let me in. When I found the night porter to get my key it was clear he had been asleep
Location and cleanliness
Too many stairs and no lift
The bed linen was clean
The whole place needs refurbishing. Too HOT couldn't adjust heating No double glazing and noisy
Location was excellent 2 min from warren street station. Wifi was v good. Breakfast ok. Room a bit small but clean.
My room was on top floor and no lift was there. Should have mmention this before. Also if you pay by credit card was charging more should have mentioned before.
Staff very helpful and considerate
not having a choice of cereals that were not sugar coated. I don't eat cooked breakfast but it did look good.
ensuite was a bolt in cubicle, door lock is basic
location near Regent's Park
heating left on all night - was too hot room service- no toilet paper left one day, no towels the next.Front desk lady extremely apologetic about her colleague Linen torn Cleanliness could be improved. Hall carpet needs a clean. Very poor breakfast service- smell of frying food overwhelmed the diningroom. Unhelpful staff had to be told to refresh hot water, didn't offer me tea or any breakfast .. Slow to clear used breakfast dishes, tables not clean
There is no matching between pictures and the reality of this hotel. The other things are, no elevator and dirty furniture. I believe that's enough to avoid it.
Location. Close to Warren St tube and one stop to Euston It was clean and that's important.
Climbing 3 flights of stairs to a pokey box room. Breakfast would have been good apart for 'budget' bought sausages, vile and certainly no meat in them. Premises looked tired and badly in need of a basic referb. Stair carpets frayed etc.
The location was excellent, the room whilst worn looking was clean, and the breakfast was good.
Whilst I knew my room did not have its own bathroom, I had no idea that my room was so far from the bathroom - my room was on the 2nd floor and shower room/toilet in the basement- this should be stated pre-booking. Also clear signage to other visitors not to use this shared bathroom as they have their own!
The staff is kind. The hotel is at walking distance from St-Pancras, and next to Warren street station. The english breakfast is good. Affordable.
If you choose a bedroom with a shared bathroom, you will get a small bedroom on the 3rd floor (without lift) whereas the bathroom (and the toilet!) is in the basement. The smell of the dusty rug in the bedroom.
Two of us shared a quadruple room. There was plenty of space and a wardrobe, clean towels and soap provided. The bathroom was a little moldy in places but was newly cleaned. Staff were friendly and we had a lovely breakfast.
Unfortunately we couldn't turn our radiator off and it was very hot in our room, otherwise we had a comfortable stay.
staff was friendly.
No lift. Small room. Not a bedside table or lamp. No shampoo or shower gel. Carpets, shower worn out. Miserable breakfast.
Old carpeting and old everything else
You get what you pay for. This hotel was in a very convenient place for my meetings in London. It's like a youth hostel with multiple beds in the rooms, but it is less than half the price of other hotels nearby. When travelling alone I only need a bed, a shower and a breakfast, and that is what I got at the Fitzroy.
You have to ring the bell to get in the building, the "reception" is a small room in the basement, and you have to pay on arrival.......so it is not very welcoming.
