Score from 805 reviews Very good
The Manager was so nice! Somebody stole my friends bag and he stopped the thief from entering her room and helped us with the police. Thank you very much!
It was very clean and the location was convenient to the city and quiet
Shower was a bit small but ok as only stayed one night
The bed was comfortable, and it was fast to get to the city centre from there, but underground station is a bit far.
We got code for wifi only on the second day, the breakfast was terrible, not real English breakfast as it was written on bookline, only scrumbled eggs made in microwave owen, mouldy bread, rotten juice... Dirty carpet and showercurtain, incredibly small room.
Comfortable and quiet
So far away from transport
The fact that we had free wifi, pretty close to the tube stop, comfy beds, cheap in comparison to other hotels.
i think our room was moudly, def a weird smell in it? We only received one key (that also went to the front door!) that the three of us had to share for the wknd which caused issue as we wanted to leave at different times The hotel serves breakfast but only between 8.00 - 9.15? The walls are extremely thin as we heard everything our neighbour was doing..
Understaffed - only one staff member was visible and clearly overworked at breakfast time. Insufficient utensils at breakfast. Central heating boiler very noisy even at 2am. Sink in room cracked. A perfectly adequate hotel for a backpacker, but grossly overpriced (even for Easter weekend) for what was provided. Very poor value for money.
Friendly staff. Felt like a safe neighborhood even after dark.
Being placed on the 2nd floor and having 3 storeys to climb after breakfast in the basement. Not ideal when celebrating ones 75th birthday. Water boiler noisy, making it impossible to sleep until everyone had gone to bed and stopped running showers etc.
The staff couldn't be worse and cooked breakfast was horrible
The breakfast was very good
No cups at tea/ coffe machine. no proper clothes hanging facilities. Lights over bed not working.
Silence, nice furniture in Breakfastroom
I needed to pay again 93pounds in cash despite i paid with my credit card it never happened before i am wondering wether i paid twice
free wifi, big bed for a single room
no soundproofing rooms, room located at the basement, bad quality and poor breakfast, share bathroom, very high price
1) Friendly, helpful and welcoming reception on the telephone before we arrived at the hotel. 2) the back garden off the dining room is lovely
1) The breakfast dining room is very noisy, we would have preferred not havingto listen to the television during breakfast
It was clean. The neighborhood seemed safe and ok. 7 minutes walk from Tufnell Park subway station
Unfriendly staff, specially the girl in the kitchen. It seems that she is forced to work there. The rooms and the toilets very very small. The TV didn't work
The manager so rude to me. I just asked about payment. He shouted to me on the phone might be I disturb during his holiday but he let the girl come to work instead and she did not know anything. He should be polite to me because I choose his hotel for my friends. He short tempered. He did not have a service mind. I am a local around there I would not recommend to anyone again.
Clean, basic accommodation. Suitable for overnight stay on a budget. Cheaper if booked a few weeks in advance.
The room is very poor and it's extremely hot .My family stayed there for two nights, just as in prison. Breakfast is bad.
Breakfast Location Quiet Neighbourhood Theme (Union Jack toilet, mugs, breakfast etc. )
Walls/doors were quite thin, you could hear the neighbouring guests as if they were in your own room. Breakfast ended too early (8:30), not ideal if you are on vaccation Staff seemed a bit irritated by guests (happened only once during stay, but left an impression)
