Adrian and Monica provide hotel standard with the personal touch their pride of place comes across very strong and "go the extra mile "is obviously a natural part of their hosting skills we look forward to our return leg.

Adrian and Monica are perfect hosts - always friendly and obliging. They made us feel home from the first minute we arrived. The breakfast was excellent, Monica made even fresh peppermint tea from her garden. The location is 15 minutes away from Derry and very calm and peaceful. Nice room with private bathroom. You couldn't get a better B&B around Derry!

Excellent hosts who made us feel welcome and comfortable; so accommodating and informative! Take the tree lined shady drive through the countrysides and deliver yourself through an umbrella of oak trees to their front door. It"s only about 15 minutes to downtown Derry. Owners really made our vacation perfect. The home is contemporary with all modern conveniences, very clean and relaxing. Beautiful gardens to explore as well. The breakfasts were enormous and delicious. We were made to feel so special and treated like genuine family. The beds were lovely with crisp clean linens. I cant say enough good things about our stay! Still what makes this B & B so worth your visit are the hosts Monica and Adrian whose warm hospitality is rare to find. Thank you so much for everything. This is a glowing review because it"s so deserving.

Charming setting. Kept watching for deer. Monica went out of her way to be helpful. Even offered to drop us off to local bar. Lovely

Signage to b&b could be helpful. Quite soft bed for us but all else great.

Having nice cup of tea and a large stack of homemade pancakes when we arrived. Yum. It was like staying at your best friend's mum's house. There was a totally layed back and relaxed atmosphere. The beds were super comfy. The shower was better than our shower at home. A really tasty breakfast in a beautiful dining room overlooking the garden. Monica and her husband were lovely and really helpful providing directions and advice for things to do.

That we couldn't have stayed longer. Stupid work.

Great location with lots of small extras that add to the overall experience. Family couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We will definitely stay there again if we are back in that direction.

I felt very welcome from the moment I arrived. Five Oaks is an excellent B & B in a beautiful house, located in a green and peaceful setting, yet only a short drive from Derry. Nice room - good breakfast. But what makes this place even more special is the way Monica and Adrian do everything possible to make your stay 100% enjoyable. Absolutely top! I want to go back already ...

    Nothing at all.

Hosts Monica and Adrian were incredibly friendly and helpful - Adrian gave us a lift into Derry, they gave us maps, advised on where to eat, how to direct the taxi, and what to see. Breakfast was nice, the shower was really powerful.

We had a room downstairs, with a shared bathroom upstairs. The bathroom was lovely but it wasn't great having to go through the main hall and upstairs in order to have a shower - perhaps towelling robes could be provided & slippers to make it more comfortable (we don't travel with these for just an overnight trip). Having said that, the bathroom is only shared with one other double, so there was no problem using it.

The hospitality was excellent. Monica sent us a text to recommend places to have dinner we wouldn't have known about. We felt we had found a respite at Five Oaks. The rooms were were nicely appointed and the food was wonderful.

Monica and Adrian were excellent hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. Lovely house and large gardens. We would use they again next time we visit Derry. Thanks.

It was further out of Drumahoe into the countryside than we originally thought and you would definately need a car and a GPS to find it. Neither of our rooms had en suite, but otherwise the faciilites were superb.

We loved our stay at Five Oaks. My family from the Netherlands were over and they had an amazing time here. The hosts were great, very friendly and provided us with a delicious breakfast every morning. Some people in our party didn't like an Irish breakfast, but Monica was happy to provide us with a wide range of alternatives. Monica let us use her iPad to look for information and drove us down the mountain to make sure we didn't get lost when leaving. Great surroundings and grounds. Will def stay here again, next time we're in Derry.

Just to note that it is a couple of minutes drive outside of the centre.
