Very good,
Score from 43 reviews
“ Family proprietors were friendly and totally focused on guest-care. Both of us follow a gluten-free diet and we were thoroughly spoilt (for once) here. All food was delicious and Richard (owner/chef) was incredibly helpful with GF alternatives. Lovely characterful building a short walk from 5 Rise Locks and lovely canal walk. ”

Leeds
This family-run hotel is tucked away in a residential area but still within easy distance of Leeds and Bradford, and is renowned for its service, friendliness, excellent cuisine and hospitality. The small boutique hotel has an excellent reputation for its AA-Rosette restaurant, which offers good value, fresh produce on both its à la carte and fixed price options. At the hotel you’ll find comfy sofas, a terraced garden, and restful views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was very good, fresh and well cooked. Staff pleasant, but not over friendly Hotel appeared dated and shabby in places. Bed too soft. Room small in floor space, not in height. Weather cold and radiators not on despite turnoing up thermostat

Nicely proportioned rooms with very comfortable beds. Restaurant is excellent. Corridor doors slam shut even with soft closing mechanism? Poor shower pressure.

Very good welcoming hosts, good menu choice, even, for a vegetarian. Friendly and good service in the restaurant, for both supper and breakfast. good value for money. The size of TV screen compared with the size of the room.

Small cosy Hotel run by the family. 3 Star yes, but price is a little high for the standard of this hotel.

Friendly & welcoming staff, attended a wedding reception, food & service were top class, as was breakfast the following morning. lovely room, can't recommend it highly enough. Room 8 can be a bit noisy due to it's closeness to the bar and Ladies toilets, which was a shame as otherwise the room was excellent. If we stay again I'd request a different room.

Quiet location , with easy access to surrounding area. Stayed in four poster bed room , over priced, nothing special compared with similiar rooms we have booked, poor layout of room ie no mirror over dressing table (tv on that wall ).Lack of information on surrounding attractions.

Room decor was recent and pleasant, carpark close to front door The location of our rooms made it necessary to pass through both dining rooms and bar, which was not desirable. Also the ladies rest room for the bar and dining area was located in close proximity to our rooms, so there was people noise audible until closing in our bedrooms.

The room and especially the bed was very comfortable. The staff went out out of their way to help, even bringing breakfast 45 mins early than normal as I had to leave early the following morning. The food was exceptional and the service in the restaurant was superb.

An all round pleasant experience. The food is excellent and the portions are spot on for comfortable eating. The bar and dining area are well laid out. A good selection of drinks are available. The staff are friendly and make you welcome. A home from home! :-)

The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness throughout. The cooked breakfast was amazing! The room was quite small and although we were quoted £69.00 for the night we were charged £80 (I think this was due to the website having the room as single occupancy) which we thought was quite expensive for the size of the room.

We wanted a quiet hotel in the Bingley area to visit friends locally. This hotel was the perfect choice. The welcome was cordial and, having been built for a Victorian family, the ambience is homely. The large double room had great views over the Aire valley, and the en suite facilities were adequate. However, the real bonus is the restaurant: a varied menu, beautifully cooked and presented, with the "early bird" dinner offer a very good deal. We have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel as a base for exploring the area.
