Lovely breakfast. Pool
No robes in bedroom
Comfortable beds, lovely shower and the friendly helpful staff.
Having to change rooms 3 times and whilst eating breakfast the mushrooms were still covered in soil. The price of a small glass of wine.
All staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was very good and pool was nice and warm. Loads of parking.
We were just unfortunate to have the kettle fail, the safe fail and no heating. Didn't need a safe anyway, kettle was replaced in minutes and we were offered another room with heating or a portable heater which we chose as we had already unpacked, but it took a while to get one. There were some noisy guests at midnight but that wasn't the hotel's fault. Despite this I would still recommend the hotel as every effort was made to rectify faults.
Lovely spacious rooms with very comfortable beds
Bed was so comfortable. Bathroom in our room was a bit old but it's still fine. Nice deep bath.
Breakfast was good value for money.
Unable to get any sleep in the Village with room doors being banged shut until 3am .......party time. Young neighbours were treating the accommodation as if their own with no consideration for other guests. Will opt to stay in the main hotel next time which should be more civilised.
Lovely grounds to walk around and the golf club very handy.
I stayed at the resort for a leisurely day while my husband went fishing. I couldn't get any spa treatments as they were fully booked. The pool was full of Mum's and toddlers and very noisy And all the beds were taken up by them so did not go in or relax by the pool. I ended up getting a Starbucks coffee and taking it back to my room to read a book. The grouting in the shower was black in the corner of the cubicle.
The foyer was spectacular, the food was lovely. We enjoyed a trip to the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
Couldn't access wifi, but not a major issue.
Room and bathroom Breakfast
How they numbered the rooms lighting for 516 not light which at 2340 hrs was inconvenient
spa facilities, pool ,comfortable beds and fast wifi
arrived at 2pm after booking on booking.com .requested an early check in but they said the had not received the request.we were told rooms would be ready at 3,so we waited with young children for our two rooms.went to enquire about the room and told they would be another 45minutes.we sat tthere and watched everyone else check in and we received no update about the room.or any reassurance from the reception.male receptionist was extremly rude.finally female receptionist called us for check inn and she was not fully sure of what she was doing so she kept asking the other female receptionist how to complete booking.which took more time first time here and never booking again
poor location, difficult to find in the dark. We drove up from Southend.
The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. Very clean and modern hotel, great facilities and great eateries
The weekends are full of hen parties and golfing parties that take over the bar and like a good row after a few brave drinks
Delicious breakfasts and helpful staff. Nice location especially if you like golf.
Noisy and drunk people coming out of the disco on Friday showing no consideration for fellow guests.
Comfy beds, lovely pillows, great shower...really good value
The Room was Geogous The breakfast was great The overall decor was great
Spa was nice but could do with a re-vamp Fully booked on treatments Drinks price was too high/ london prices
Friendly staff in lovely surroundings'
evening eating a little expensive'
Comfort, style, am\zing quality to room and very comfy bed.
Let down by night staff who failed to collect our breakfast request from door which meant we had to leave without breakfast. not a good start to the day and not a good end to our stay.
Hotel lovely, rooms excellent.
Bar was packed with v.roudy golfers. Restaurant was full and had to eat in bar? Not good atmosphere for eating. Changed seats three times and eventually went into hotel foyer.
Asked for a room in the main hotel but was put in the village. Fine on first night, second night had guests above screaming and singing til 2am- this doesn't happen in the main hotel. I invited a colleague to join me for breakfast- The non-resident rate of £17 is extortionate.
Great bed Excellent breakfast choices
Bar food not value for money Towels old and worn Bathroom fixtures and fittings tired and dated
Excellent contemporary design.in lobby. Good quality of room and bathroom, all well thought out. Did not try leisure facilities but they seem to be extensive. Staff were friendly.
TV in room not working, a/c system baffling and could not get it to turn on without help from service man. Dusty curtains. Waited ages for a table in the restaurant....
Good reception staff, very comfortable beds, quiet location.
Room was in need of some renovation. Mould on shower ceiling, bathroom fittings looking worn. We got the room at a low rate and I think the hotel gave us one of their worst rooms. We were too tired and had a sleepy baby so we didn't ask to be moved, but the staff would likely have moved us as they were very good.
Me and my partner have stayed at this hotel twice now and out first time we absolutely loved it and got the best night sleep we have ever had! The beds are amazing there massive and so comfortable. The spa is great 2!
The first time we stayed here we was in the hotel and really enjoyed our stay, the second time we was put in a room where u had to go outside of the hotel to little blocks with rooms in. These rooms weren't as nice and didn't feel as comfortable, we had a really bad night sleep for the 2 nights we stayed as there was lots of young lads in the other rooms in our block and they was shouting and up all hours of the night, we complained to reception but nothing was done. Gutted as this was our favorite place to stay. But now we are not sure if we will go back.
Price of food especially breakfast, £16 for a very poor fry up.
