everything was amazing even before we arrived, I wanted things in room when I got there and they were there. Amazing friendly staff, can't wait till next stay
Friendly staff Hot beverage facility in the room
Some rooms can be noisy
After a cancelled train home I was able to book and check in after 11pm without any issues. Staff were helpful and polite and room service was quick.
The room whilst comfortable was small and we could hear our neighbours talking through the wall. Basic toiletries such as toothbrushes had to be ordered from concierge and were not in the room. We needed to charge our phones but could only do this by leaving them at the concierge desk.
Excellent location in Mayfair, top class decor, prompt room service, friendly and helpful people. Sma but well designed bedrooms, warm rooms with good heating and air con. Civilised breakfast and checkout times. Housekeeping available late. They know how to boil an egg, a rare ability in hotels.
Breakfast chaotic on Saturday morning, ran out of crockery and did not replenish the buffet. A lot if junior staff wandering around aimlessly. Poor background music in the bar added to a gloomy subterranean feel. The one lift is very slow. No half bottles of bubbly or red wine. Should have fresh milk in the fridge for tea, should provide dopa for wash basin AND bath, these two not classy.
We shifted rooms after one night due to being adjacent to a noisy lift. The new room was an improvement and we were satisfied with this until the next morning we we awake to see that the bed linen was soiled and hadn't been changed from the previous guests. My wife slept in this excrement overnight.
Everything apart from room !
Had stayed at the flemmings before on my own in a beautiful room , kept getting emails off them so decided to take my partner as I thought I would end up in a similer room , sadly it wasn't . Which was a bit Embaressing as I had been telling my partner what the room was like !
Position of the hotel and the staff in general make this hotel a pleasure to be at. The food is excellent.
Although the room was great, it was subject to the noise of the lift nearby. Constantly having to log into the internet is irritating.
Staff very welcoming. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic breakfast, beautifully served
smallest bed in the world????
Room too small for a couple
Breakfast service very poor, staff very disorganised
Location, food in restaurant very good
Housekeeping servicing of room functional, no obvious turn down , no doorman in evening when I arrived - disappointing at this level - also chunky pillows - no feather/down.
Everything; the staff, our room, restaurant were all perfect
I loved the location, and the feel of the hotel. All staff were helpful, rooms were cosy and comfortable and breakfast was great.
Wifi is really slow
Very friendly& helpful staff at all times.
Amazing hotel!! Perfect location, beautiful decor!! Staff couldn't do enough for you! Would definitly stay again!
distance from tube station. Staff a lot of them - apart from the bar staff on the Friday night when we ordered drinks and had to wait at least 20 minutes for them to arrive
noisy bedroom at the back with the air conditioning units running outside. Door into the ensuite bathroom was not very wide and a larger built person would have struggled.
Good location Friendly staff
Room far too small for £300 per night - like a box Room far too hot - even with radiator off
Staff were great.
Noisy with building work next door
Location is excellent, room was spacious, very modern and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We requested an early check in and it was greatly appreciated.
Wifi connection was very poor, connection kept coming and going
We had a very warm welcome on our arrival and from then on the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Our room was clean, nicely decorated and well equiped. It is perfectly located with Green Park tube station just around the corner. This is a one off hotel so you do get a more personal service compared to chain hotels which is an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel
Wonderful staff and beautiful facility - very British! Our room was small, but immaculate and had all the amenities - great flat screen, 2 comfortable leather chairs, great comfortable queen size bed and free coffee/tea service and WiFi. Public area was lovely, with fresh flowers, fire place and beautiful furnishings. A full English Breakfast was included each day and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Only one criticism - the closet hangers were attached with rings - not appropriate for a 5 star hotel.
The room I had was to the rear of the Hotel at the rear there is a huge construction site just started and the noise is constant from 7:30am to 6pm
Stayed as part of extended family group attending a wedding in Central London. My husband is disabled and my mother is 99 so it was important to us that everything was organised with ease of mobility in mind. The staff at Flemings were all very helpful so, although the hotel has a complicated layout with long corridors and quite a lot of steps, we managed very well. The location was very convenient and were able to park on the street outside with our blue badge as it was the weekend. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast very good.
Only very slight downside was that restaurant is in the basement so no nice views or natural light for breakfast in the morning.
Politeness and friendliness of staff
No sound on television Room suffered from outside noise
