Morning staff were excellent - very efficient and friendly. Newly decorated suites very clean and fresh - Lovely rooms.

Booked a taxi on arrival for the following day to attend a wedding we were over in Guernsey for. The staff member forgot to book it, so due no taxis being available we were almost late to the wedding we had come over to Guernsey for.

    The room size!

The quality of the matressess is extremely poor. They defintely need to replace them. I slept on springs the whole night!

The area is stunning - the nicest part of Guernsey. The food is first class and the staff friendly and efficient.

The swimming pool water was freezing!

Perfect location for exploring the island and having a quiet, comfortable place to relax at the end of the day. Restaurant was excellent. The staff were outstanding; went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The decor was good. The size of the garden room was good. The food was very good. The bed was very comfortable.

The curtains didn't block out enough light so it was difficult to sleep. Traffic was quite noisy at night (as was the cockerel from 3am!) At times I couldn't get the tap to run cold.

Wonderful stay in Guernsey at this lovely little hotel. Staff were very helpful, food was very good and pricing competitive. It was located close to western beaches. It was recommended by Country Walking Magazine, and I would support their recommendation, great location for walkers. Must take my fishing tackle next time, the sea looks very 'bassy'.

The carpet in the dining room was a little tired.

Good countryside location within easy walk of the beach. Very friendly and courteous staff. The Garden Room is a nice concept, good-sized with a large comfortable bed and separate seating area.

A little more shabby than shabby-chic now. The two Garden Rooms share a corridor with what appears to be staff accommodation and can be noisy late at night. The floor coverings are well worn and grubby. Inordinate wait for cold water in the bathroom (yes, cold water!): a plumbing problem no doubt. May be under-staffed on occasion with lengthy wait for service in the dining room although the staff remain resolute and courteous.

Had a great 5 night stay. Great location in the countryside on an easy to use bus route. No need to rent a car. Short walk to the coast through beautiful lanes. Good food, great service, fun folk music in pub. Would stay here again if we come back to Guernsey.

Stayed in a room at the front of the hotel and there was some road noise.

Nice location, not too far from the sea. Recommend using the local bus service for journeys to the Port etc, an hourly service outside Hotel. Food very good and friendly staff. The Hotel has its own pub type bar.

Because the Hotel has a good reputation for food, it can get a little overcrowded with local visitors.
