The experience as a whole was very enjoyable. The owners are professional and courteous, communication was absolutely fantastic and the level of service received was excellent. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, in a nice part of town and a very short walk to the city centre. The beds were very comfortable, there was a large flatscreen TV with more channels than I could watch and shops close by. It's also really useful having a kitchen area available, especially for longer stays, it means you can cook and aren't confined to restaurants and take-aways, really handy! There was also a washing machine and all required kitchen utensils available, something you wouldn't find in a hotel! There were also no tricky, laggy internet connections to manage, I just copied the password off a notice board and I was online! Steve was always at the other end of the phone in case we needed anything, flexible to our needs (I forgot to give him an hour's notice before I arrived, yet Paul was still at the apartment before I was) and the business did everything they could to ensure our stay was a pleasant one, from suggesting where to go to providing taxi phone numbers. Next time I visit Nottingham I will get in touch with Steve before even considering booking a hotel!
