staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The room itself was quite nice, tv sofa bed all good.

the bathroom was not up too a very good standard, which dirt in the bath and spider webs in all corners and unfortunately an unclean toilet.

I liked the staff and the breakfast

I was moved to teh Strattons Hotel just opposite which was also fine but the walls were a bit thin and the shower not the best. It was fine though and still good value for money.

Front door needs a good coat of paint. Not a good first impression

Home cooked breakfast, lovely. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was located in a quiet residential area.

Room was very small and the shower room was very cold.

Lovely duvet, comfy bed, less than five minute walk from sea / beach, nice fresh breakfast, helpful staff, beautiful decor

These are tiny problems, but drain was slow in our shower, and mirror in our room was a bit streaky, otherwise excellent!

Friendly and helpful staff and comfy bed. The breakfast was also good.

Our main light in the room was not working and was not fixed during our 3 nights stay. There was only a shower and it was not very powerful.

I liked the decoration of the hotel and the staff were very friendly.

The room (a standard double) was very small and the shower had barely a trickle of water. The hotel was situated in a residential area so there was nowhere touristy nearby.

It was very stylish.

For the price, I hope for cooked breakfast was included.

Carpet underlay sounded like plastic bags. Soundproofing between rooms not so great.

Young girl on reception was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and so comfortable. Close for visit to D Day museum and sea front.

the kettle in the room was poor did not pour well and made a mess when pouring, just a minor moan

Young staff unable to make decisions (we needed leaky sink and faulty television fixing & it never was). Room small & cramped. Bathroom fittings not good quality.

Was told room service available but couldn't find menu, when asked at reception the lady couldn't locate. The bathroom very underwelming, room 1 where I stayed the wash basin leaked all over the floor, I informed reception but had been leaking for some time when looked at flooring. Shower poor. Has a small wadrobe was not useable, bot wide enough for a coat hanger and two hanging bars made hanging adult clothing impossible it looked like a childs wadrobe.

The room was huge and the bed extremely comfy. The staff were willing to help and offer advice about the area. The breakfast supplied was fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay.

The door in the room kept banging when other guests would shut theirs which woke us up a few times, but fixed by propping a few pillows up against it.

The room was perfect.

Heating off at night

Helpful, friendly staff. Very welcoming. The decor was sumptuous (believe me - we've stayed in "luxury" hotels that weren't this nice). Great breakfast - we had the price inclusive buffet (not the cooked for an extra charge) and it was fresh, tasty and plentiful with lots of choice for such a small place.

The wooden floors made travel through the building a little noisy

Excellent value for money -£60 for executive room with breakfast couldn't be beaten! Lovely breakfast- not a big breakfast eater so didn't bother me that cooked breakfast was extra. Very friendly attentive staff. Will definitely be returning

As another reviewer stated it didn't really feel like a hotel but rather an upmarket b&b.

Very friendly, accommodating, clean, well-appointed, lovely breakfast. The nicest B&B we've stayed at so far.

The hotel was perfectly located for the coast, town, pubs + restaurants were just a short walk. Staff were extremely friendly. Rooms were tastefully decorated and kept very clean. Continental breakfast was basic but very good. Could not fault the hotel, we had a lovely stay.
