Large comfortable rooms with modern conveniences. Great staff and wonderful food - nothing was too much trouble. Their website breakfast review is all it claims. Great value for money - we will return in the New Year 2015.
WiFi needs improving to make it useable in all rooms.
Great room and food.
Paid 55 pounds on booking .com for 1 adult 1 child. But when i went to pay it was 65 and was told its a good deal as its usually 80 for duel occupancy.
Good sized, attractive bedroom Excellent service from all staff that we came into contact Superb food, dinner delicious (recommend the raspberry pannacotta) and breakfast equally good (thick bacon, free range eggs)
Limited parking, had to park on street, but quiet side road, so not a big issue
Very friendly staff. Beautifully decorated room. 10 out of 10 for the evening meal!! Couldn't fault the place. Would definitely stay again.
Amanzing place i dont have more words.....
Food very good and staff all very pleasant and helpful.Good size room.
Excellent food; quality of service from the staff; location close to Forest of Dean and Mountain Bike area.
Nothing really not to like.
Staff were very friendly Accommodation was spacious and clean Breakfast was delicious Good value for money
My fiance and stayed here as a friend was getting married at clearwell castle. Lovely comfortable b&b, brilliant location, staff very nice and helpful, nothing too much trouble . Great room, couldn't really ask for more! Planning a trip back in the near future.
nothing to complain about.
Brilliant staff, perfect room and tasty breakfast
Lovely owners and most of the staff are really nice, just one stupid girl behind the bar on our first night, far too familiar. The only place in Coleford that we would stay. Nice food, great breakfast. Requested a couple of special things for our anniversary and all done with a smile and care.
Coleford is very drab. Certain areas of property need a feather duster.
Two comfortable rooms for parents & older teen kids, pleasant and helpful staff (gave us some good recommendations on things to see in the area), good food (both the included breakfast & dinner in the restaurant), attractive property
Dinner service was a little slow & disorganized (not terrible though) and there were problems with the wifi going out
A beautiful, fully restored building with a warm, comfortable ambiance. Charming host & staff made us feel quite at home. Within easy reach of the Forest - a great central position to explore this lovely region.
Not a thing.
Everything. It was the perfect weekend. Staff 1st class made to feel very welcome. Catered for dietary requirements . Food amazing. Cannot fault anything
Having to leave !
Restaurant Clean room & Comfortable bed Friendly staff
Wi-Fi not good in that area, not necessarily the hotels fault
Lovely little Hotel, needs touching up a bit but the food was awesome, worth visiting for that alone!! Staff are very pleasant and the owners are extremely nice and helpful... I paid extra for premium room then saw another room way better than mine so that was annoying!! That aside if they did some cosmetic work inside that would make me go back, as again the food was amazing!
Damp in my room above bed was ugly to look at... Saw a better bigger room than mine and I paid extra for best room!
Thank you Sue and Geoff for a wonderful evening and morning. It was the perfect English send off for my parents before they flew back to SA. Lovely rooms, dinner and breakfast!! You will see us again.
The owners are lovely and helpful. The food is excellent. Good location for touring the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. Good sized rooms. Charming house, very clean.
The staff were lovely and friendly and the breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were nice and spacious and very tastefully decorated. Overall it is a lovely little place to stay and perfect for the purpose we needed as we were attending a wedding at Clearwell castle which is a short drive away.
Floors were a bit squeaky and there wasn't an abundence of parking spaces but that wouldn't stop me from returning in the future.
Very clean great food the room was lovey ....how every hotel should be! Thank you Sue ...Jon Bristol
I was really impressed by how warm the welcome was at this B&B. The rooms were big and well equipped, the people very friendly and helpful and the made to order breakfast really nice and timely served.
The only minor issue I had was that, given the popularity of the restaurant downstairs, if you are out and come back before 11pm it might be hard to park in the B&B parking and you might need to find parking on the side street.
