Building and surroundings naturally beautiful but enhanced by staff who were all excellent, from reception, to husekeeping, bar/restaurant and concierge. All really nice warm, friendly and professional and provided lots of useful local knowledge with regards walks etc..... Bar prices a bit pricey, especially for scotlands national tipple, whisky starting around 5 pounds for 25 ml!

A quiet Location but plenty on site for Families of all ages, a perfect base for visiting sites near & far. Very friendly Staff, from the receptionists to the chambermaids, they all took an interest in what you were doing and full of information and suggestions to make our stay a good one. Our second visit and certainly not our last. During our stay we were stranded due to the Loch overflowing and closing our route out, we were given a very good deal to stay over or we could follow the Hotel mini-bus out thru the forest, which we chose as we had our grandson to collect from school, so their assistance was greatly appreciated.

The staff were attentive and helpful. The bedroom was very clean and warm, the cleaners were pleasant and helpful. The staff in the bistro restaurant were very attentive and the service was exceptional. We had a very enjoyable meal. The views and scenery from the hotel were beautiful. The restaurant was a clean, bright room with stunning views across the loch. We think that the bistro could do with some refurbishment as the carpets were threadbare. The ceiling in the bistro was also chipped.

A lovely comfortable hotel in a beautiful location. We went for a spa break and werent disappointed with the pool, spa and gym. If you want a nice walk, ask at reception for a Forestry Commision map which has lots of lovely walks around Loch Ard and nearby country parks. My only one small niggle is how expensive the Garden Restaurant was ( £30 for two courses ) Whilst the food was nice, it was over priced. Rafters bar above the gym is more reasonable and we thought a better meal. The cocktail bar in the main hotel was lovely and cosy, very relaxing. The staff were outstanding, very professional and friendly. An all round lovely couple of days and would return .

The scenery was amazing. Pool area was nice. Close to Go Ape course. Room smelt a bit musty and could use upgrading, however it was comfortable enough. Some of the staff were unfriendly, although I think they may hav been in training. Ate in bistro, it was very loud as there was a bar and disco right next to it, wood hav benefitted from a partition wall of some sort.

The situation of the hotel and the grounds are lovely. The outside appearance of the hotel needs a bit of attention - the window frames and paintwork.

We had stayed there before and knew the hotel to be good with friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, excellent leisure facilities and a range of outdoor activities. The Trossachs countryside is stunning in any season and although much visited by overseas tourists, it tends to be overlooked by "locals" from the central belt of Scotland. Avoiding weekends if possible means less crowded facilities. The price of drinks!

Only the position and the breakfast. The room was not confortable and was very old and without maintenance. There was not WI-FI connection included in the standard price. A part of the reception's staff was not helpful.

The location Unfortunately the experience was disappointing. Some of the facilities were of very low standard for a 4 star hotel, for example the Bistro Restaurant. However, the restaurant staff were friendly and worked very hard to provide a good service. We couldn’t understand why we had to wait 40 minutes for a table, while the restaurant was half empty anyway. The room was not clean as we would have expected; there was dust in the wardrobe selves. And after calling room service twice and they never came, we had a clear idea of the poor standard of service provided. It is a shame because the hotel is in a wonderful setting and we were considering to visit other resources in Spain.

We arrived on our bikes, very wet having ridden through heavy rain, the staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The room was large and well arranged, we had a meal in the main restaurant which was of very high quality as was the breakfast. The location - on the shore of Loch Ard - is stunning and we sat out on the terrace in the morning enjoying the view in bright sunshine. Nothing

The staff were very welcoming The position is beautiful next to Loch Ard where you can canoe etc. The swimming pool was good. The spa was very relaxing. We ate in the Bistro and the food was good. The breakfast was great. Overall very pleasant relaxing couple of days. The hotel should invest some money in their facade as it lets the place down a little. The swimming pool was busy with children (it was august bank holiday)

Good location. Reception and dining area decor smart. Good quality breakfast though no eggs available ! Because my booking was through an agency I was unable to access discount for 2 day attendance at nn Cook School. Potential customers are encouraged to go online where availability of direct hotel landline is pool. Fabric of building needs upgrade. Requirement to go outside to Bistro access is surprising.

The resort is located just off the road with a view over Loch Ard. The view is spectacular and the trails round the loch suitable for walkers and bicycles. The hotel was very welcoming and staff went out of their way to ensure we had a nice stay. Leisure facilities are very good with a large swimming pool. We ate in the bar restaurant adjacent to the leisure centre and the food and service were very good. No complaints about anything

Nice spa and fitness. The room was an horror. Apparently if you book via "Booking" you will get the non renovated rooms. Those are dated of the last century, you hear the neighbour snoring. Shaving is almost impossible as the mirror is a meter away from the water basin where you have to choose between boiling or freezing water. It is rather a 2star hotel than a 4 star.
