Basic prices basic facilities, Excellent location. Transport to restaurant and airport is free. Plenty of tea and milk etc.
My bed was a bit rickety Very basic furnishings. Creased duvet cover and throw. Grubby shower curtain and peeling paint. Needs sprucing up.
So close to Airport with promp easy to access pick up return lift & helpful people
Noise from room above due to old building creaky floors etc but a very comfortable roomy area so acceptable factor would not put me off stay!
Easy to get to and the price was good
Mini fridge didn't work milk had gone off when I went to us it
The breakfast in your room
The room was right on main road so noisey
Location is good. 24H check in was great. Check out just required leaving the keys in the room, which saves on time in the morning.
If you're looking to utilise the wi-fi, you'll need to be a bit closer than we were to the reception.
Close to airport, free transport to and from airport, friendly and helpful staff, clean, comfortable bed, second visit and will use again in near future
Noise from road if you are near it,does not appear to cease, but only there one night and needed to be up early,
Staff were very helpful, arranged free transport to and from the bungalow inn the evening before our flight
convenient to airport.
room in need of up-dating, door handle came off to bathroom.
Nice sized room, plenty of hanging space and loads of breakfast cereals, milk, tea and coffee. Central heating came on as the temperature dropped although the day before had been very warm. Quick pick-up both ends for getting to and from the airport. Nice happy drivers. Loads of towels on bed (nice change from expensive hotels that give you two tiny towels)
State of bathroom - taps odd and cold tap broken and very sharp. Was next to front door so every time someone came in or out I was woken up as it seems doors need to be slammed as hard as possible - NOT. Could not get WIFI which I really needed and was told was on. Was not able to complete booking on Internet due to link to Facebook which it would not allow me to do. I had to phone the Forge and confirm I had a booking - not their fault.
Close to airport, comfy beds, plenty of cereals for breakfast, close to the pub across the road who's staff are very friendly.Forges staff friendly enough but only saw them wen we checked in
Fridge didn't work, so the milk they gave us the night b4 was off by morning. Cudnt report it cos there was no 24 hr reception. Very very far away from nearest wee village
The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful
I didnt like the fact my room was not ready and was given an other room, the mini fridge was broken and there was black mold in the bathroom
We were only there overnight and have no complaints
having to wait outside early in am ,in the rain more than 15mins ,waiting for transport to airport
Friendly clean and comfortable.
We arrived at 1am after a late flight home from holiday. We were subsequently woken up at 3am by other guests arriving upstairs and the ceiling was so thin we could even hear them going to the toilet. In the morning, we wanted a shower but it didn't work.I Called to complain as the reception is only open from 4pm to midnight and was told that someone would contact me; they didn'T. I then emailed the management and received a rude reply stating that shower was working and that they ask people to be quiet after midnight; that is untrue as we were not asked to keep quiet. At the end of the reply, the owner stated that I had not paid which is completely untrue as I have the reciept. All in all, this place is overpriced with poor customer service; never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Extremely helpful and welcoming staff, prompt service to bring us to our room with their own car as it was late at night. Fresh refrigerated milk for a cuppa and ample supply of cereals for breakfast. Nice and clean, would use again. Good value for money.
Comfy bed and warm soft duvet & pillows. Very clean towels and bath mats, good heating in the bedroom.Good choice of cereals for breakfast.
Bathroom cold, no heating, no shelves to put anything down or hooks to hang towels or clothes, and was a bit smelly round the loo, (poor aim?) as if floor needed a mop. No reading lights, had to perch table lamp on the bedstead.
We always use this hotel when we fly from Bristol Airport. It is 4 mins away from the airport and the staff are always helpful and efficient. Plenty of selection of cereals for breakfast and complimentary hot drinks. Recommended.
Ease of access to airport Friendliness of staff Closeness to airport
Quite noisy traffic all night
Proximity to Airport.
No internet access although booked this place with that as a must.....transportation to local pub delayed to say the least..... their pub was the only option as it was in the middle of nowhere and overpriced .... the bathroom was camping circa 1953... the biggest problem though was it did not perform to the level they advertise.....
The lovely helpful cleaning ladies who got me some toast in the morning - & a Heater!
No heat on & I was freezing. No hand soap. Only milk & cereal for the morning - I don.t take milk. Being in a hut in the car park, have to keep the curtains drawn or people getting in their cars could see right in. But the worst part was being freezing cold & hungry. Thank God for the great cleaning ladies who helped this old lady so much
Speed of check in
Room was very small, smelt musty and damp. Hardly slept as noisy with people coming and going all night. Needed a good clean, bathroom awful.
Close to airport, friendly staff
The proximity to Bristol Airport and free shuttle service. Also breakfast included in the room.
Guests are encouraged to use the Bungalow Inn for a meal by the reception and also on the website. There is a free shuttle service there and back, but we waited nearly half an hour with the mini bus passing us twice, but not stopping. In the end I, two relatives and two other people waiting crossed the road to the Airport Tavern where the service was quick and the food excellent.
