Pleasant, friendly staff. Sea view. Bed could have been more comfortable, pillows were very hard. We found breakfast very boring whilst staying for 7 days, my husband likes fish for breakfast but it was just the usual English bacon, eggs etc and no mushrooms!!! If I were to recommend the hotel it would be for a short break only. |

The sea views were lovely, the swimming pool a very welcome relaxing moment. The breakfast room delightful and the food was very good. The carpets were old, musty smell, staircases creaked, the blankets on the bed very old fashioned. |

If you want a comfortable and reasonably priced hotel with a room overlooking the sea, with good local cafes/bistros and beach, and not too far from the centre of St Helier and Jersey's main bus station, then this is the hotel for you. It also has an indoor swimming pool and very friendly and helpful staff. The floorboards in the room above ours were very creaky, and the dinner was not very impressive on the night we tried it (though it was reasonably priced) . |

The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent and we would return in the future as we enjoyed our stay. Tv was too high up and bed was not very comfortable. Two comfortable chairs in bedroom would have been great. |

The service and staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was a little dated especially soft furnishings. We felt it could do with a little money being spent on it to update the bathroom. |

A traditional seaside hotel with great views, nice local restaurants and reasonable access to the town 3/4 mile. Monday to Saturday buses stop right out outside the hotel but unfortunately there are no buses on Sundays. Car parking is not great. |

Room ready immediately on arrival at 12 am and always well seved by staff throughout stay. Excellent well cooked breakfast, good evening meal. Wonderful view from dining room. Excellent heated indoor pool at no extra cost. Hotel had a wonderful scenic location on coast and not too far from centre of St Helier. Have stayed in higher star rating hotels which have been far inferior to Fort... Glaring bright red patterned carpets throughout hotel. Only provided soap in rooms. Would have been welcome to have had shower gel and shampoo even if at extra cost since these items are not easy to take on planes because of size limitations. |
