The welcoming attitude of owners/hosts throughout our three night stay. Larger establishments could learn valuable lessons. Small, but efficient in terms of presentation, cleanliness and excellent breakfasts. |

The proprietor was very friendly and welcoming. We thought the room was clean but the bed was not comfortable and the duvet was too small for two people sharing. Would have been better with cotton linen and feather duvet from a comfort point of view. |

It was very local to where I needed to be.Friendly staff and great breakfast. Room was comfortable. Shower was hot. Everything I needed. |

Our stay was little more than 12 hours and our need was for a place to sleep and have breakfast, so we did not have the opportunity to take advantage of all that the hotel had to offer - e.g the attractive grounds. |

On arrival, tired after long drive, we were offered tea, coffee and biscuits in the lounge watching the Open golf - very nice and just what we needed. |
