We liked the house and the tasteful decor, the relaxed atmosphere and the kindness and caring family that are there for their guests needs at all times. The optional dinners are superb and highly reccommended.

Danny and Dawn are clearly proud of their business and this is seen in the friendly and helpful services provided. Breakfasts were excellent with bedroom and bathroom equally first class. Stayed two days and would return.

An accidental find on the internet when I had an unexpected overnight stop in the area. I received a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. My bag was carried up the steps to my room and refreshment offered. A good room with a very comfy bed (if a tad squeaky!). The bathroom was very grand with a good strong shower. Nice little touches like home made brownies and water in the room. I'm a vegetarian and had both breakfast and an evening meal - I really enjoyed the excellent food and the wine. It's only a short walk from Ironbridge. I'll be going again.

When I visited, the weather was very hot and it was pleasant to sit outside on the terrace (a bit of an exaggeration as there's only room for one table and four hard chairs outside the front of the house). There didn't seem to be anywhere else to relax apart from the dining room - the other ground floor room was locked and you don't always want to sit in your room.

A proper home away from home which is very important as i am solo traveller. Dawn made me feel very welcome, and has an easy going and relaxed style, Comfy bed and well equipped rooms. I especially like the home made brownies in the bedroom. Perfectly located for all the museums. Do make sure you make time for a breakfast, Dawns full English is absolutely epic and beautifully cooked. I left feeling relaxed and rested. Definitely recommended and would not hesitate to book again. Top tip for the museums, buy the passport for all the museums it works out cheaper. Leave the car at the B&B and pay just £1 to ride the gorge connect bus all day.

Dawn was welcoming right from the start, very helpful about places to eat nearby and how to get to the places we wanted to visit in the area. Our room (Room 2) was beautifully decorated and very clean, and the ensuite bathroom a joy - with the most amazing shower! We stayed in for a meal on our second night, and the food was delicious, excellent choice and beautifully cooked. We couldn't fault it.

    Nothing!

Having read the rave reviews prior to staying at the Foundry Masters House I was very sceptical as to their authenticity. After staying here for three nights however, I can confirm that this establishment is everything you could desire; a true home from home. It never felt like being in a bed & breakfast. From the lovely, polite children to their parents, Dawn and Danny, you felt as if you were staying with perfect friends. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Dawn, apart from my request to come home and look after us full time. Dawn was concerned that the bells from the adjacent Church would disturb us, but we had our best sleep for months, as the bed was so comfortable. The quality mattress was new, so sleep was instant. As for the room; the sanitary-ware was top quality, linen was spotless and the hair dryer better than mine at home. The huge breakfasts with home-made bread were to die for. Then we discovered that Dawn, a qualified chef, also did evening meals. Our evening meal here was much better value than a nearby recommended restaurant and of far higher quality. Overall, the service, facilities, friendliness and atmosphere outdid many five star hotels. We did not use our car during our stay here as the museums were opposite and a £1 ticket could be bought daily to view the more distant sites by bus. To top it off even the weather was perfect - a heatwave. We shall have to return here to finish using our museum passport and would not consider staying anywhere else. Firstly though I need to lose the 4lbs I gained in three days.

    Nothing.

The house is in a great location to explore the historic areas and museums around Ironbridge. A lovely room with a huge, very comfortable bed, a really good breakfast and a warm welcome from Dawn and Dans. Made us feel like guests and friends, not just customers.

We only stayed two nights and didn't have time to visit some of the museums - we will have to go back :-)

Warm welcome. Wonderful food. Friendly, personal attention.

Only one drawback. Bedroom short of space. No dressing table or other surface on which to unpack belongings other than clothes, but this was outweighed by all the positives.

The lovely welcome we received when we arrived made a great start to our first visit to Ironbridge. Our room was very comfortable with a large en-suite and plenty of hot water. For us it was a perfect place to stay to 'get away from it all'.

We are unable to think of anything!

Breakfast five star. Staff helpful and very friendly.

No mirror in the bedroom or chair. Drying my hair without a mirror was difficult. Style of bed too big for such a small room.
