It was within walking distance from the Castle and had a variety of nice restaraunts and cafes in the area. Also next to the canal which was scenic. The area which the apartments are set in needs lighting at night, it is not lit up and therefor could be a dangerous area to walk in when darkness falls.

I liked the location and it is very close to the city centre, shops, bus stop, train station. It was a nice modern apartment with 2 bathrooms. Clean and comfy. The staff were friendly and clean the room every day. When maintenance was required they were absolutely on time. I liked that the internet is for free and the apartment was warm. I was with my mom who was visiting Edinburgh for the first time, she loved the place. Highly recommended . Although the internet service (Wi-Fi) is free of charge in the apartments, the connection was poor and the speed was slow. This was mostly the only bad thing about the place.

Comfortable, well appointed, spacious and excellent value for money. Tesco Express and Coffee house nearby were very handy. The WiFi did not allow Youtube videos to play. It also censored various sites, which as an adult, I do not think is appropriate. The area is a little run down.

Excellent accomodation. Perfectly situated in the centre of Edinburgh but just far enough out of the centre to be nice and quiet - about a 10 minute walk to royal mile, castle, princes st etc. Good amenities nearby - cash points, supermarkets etc. Apartment itself was big with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (!), living room, kitchen, tv, dvd player, surround sound etc, and all very clean and well furnished. Couldn't recommend it more.

I stayed in the penthouse two bedroom apartment. I thought it was great, one of the best places I have stayed throughout my European travels. Very modern and up to date. The rooms were large, the kitchen was big enough for several people to help cook, tv was available, the kitchen was fully stocked with glasses, plates, ect. There was a washer, dryer, and dishwasher. The beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful. The location was close enough to walk to the castle and other major attractions. There was a double bed in one room and two singles in the other. It would have been nice if the beds were larger.

The apartment was very warm, cosy & inviting. The price was very reasonable for the quality. Would definitely stay again when we come back in August for the festivals. Staff very freindly and extremely helpful. We also had a free upgrade to a two bed apartment with two showerooms.

We stayed two adults for four nights in a one room apartment. The standard was impressive, the apartment size just accurate for two adults. The location was very quiet day and night, and with a very convenient Tesco Express just around the corner! The disappointments were a unfriendly welcome, a very poor bed, a too hot apartment, especially the bathroom, even after airing out constantly and trying to adjust the temperatures. The wall to wall carpet was dirty and the kitchen ventilator was not working well and this resulted in a constant bad. The frying pan was warn out and useless. So all in all despite the high standard, we would have been better off at a mid range hotel..

From the moment we arrived there was a excellent standard of service. Our flight was in alot earlier than check in time but the apartments were more than willing to mind our suitcase until we checked in. Then we got our apartment and all I can say was everything was perfect. Clean towels everyday and freedom to come and go. Even when we required a taxi they receptionist had it sorted within 5 mins. Highly recommend this place!!

We had a really lovely, modern, tastefully decorated and comfortable apartment with all the amenities you could ask for. The reception staff were most helpful and friendly. they have a great little cafe just outside where you can get an excellent breakfast if you don't feel like cooking. We found these apartments to be very conveniently located with an easy walk to Princes Street and the Edinburgh CBD and the Castle.

Clean, spacious, very well equiped kitchen The apartment was very warm and there were no details of how to alter the temperature. THis made it quite uncofortable whwen sleeping as I did not like to leave the window open once I went to bed. Also there wasn't any details on how to use the oven/dishwasher tv etc. Although they were easy to work out it would be nice to have a copy of the manuals to ensure the applicances are used correctly

We found the fountain court apartments grove executive great value for money, excellent high quality apartments, very very clean, a great location with a supermarket, cash machine, cafes and bars close by. All in close proximity to the centre of Edinburgh. We came for the Edinburgh 10k and would definitely return again! Excellent.

I chose the venue becuase it looked contemporary and well maintained and I wasn't disappointed. I liked the spacious, airy feel, the separate living area from the bedroom, the helpful staff and the location. It's been one of the best places I've stayed in ... ever. Perhaps the pillows and wardrobes could have been of a better quality to match the rest of the venue.

Good location - central for getting out in to edinburgh - on site parking was handy. Facilities were good and the wi-fi was fast. The room was over warm and it was difficult to cool it down. Plus you had to pay for parking - I would expect it to be included for the price.

Good location The bathroom smelt, the bed was very uncomfortable and the whole thing was over priced. As it was the Fringe we could not find other accommodation otherwise I would have moved out.

Excellent apartment with everything you could possibly need. Only thing that would have made it perfect is a black out blind in the bedroom as the curtains let in a lot of light.

Very nice flat with much comfort. Wi-fi for internet was excellent. Very high standard in the flat: tv, dvd, washingmachine, dishwasher etc. Perfect if you stay a week. I can recommend it. Much noise outside the hotel. It didn´t stop until 4 a.m.

Great to have an apartment! Everything we needed was there. Fre wi-fi. Ok location, we could walk everywhere. Not very informed people at check in, couldn't answer the simplest questions about being a tourist in Edinburgh. Would charge us 30 pounds a night for giving our 2-year old her own bed. We had her sleep on the sofa..
