Noises from the nearby pubs at times around 3am
Large apartment with everything I needed, clean and close to train station, within walking distance from city centre and attractions a very enjoyable stay.
No lift, keys collection from the main office up the road which was not clear when booking.
I like this apartment when staying away from home as this one has all the comforts of home and all the facilities
Noise of people outside, shutters on shop woke me when closing in early hours, no hot water in the morning, hall way smells and is not appealing
Entry is shabby, smells of damp/foist. First impression of appartment door was that the place had just been broken into. Carpets are disgusting, furniture very tired and shabby. Paid £228 for 4 nights, didn't stay longer than 1hour. Noisy, dirty, smelly, cheap and in a poor area. Would never stay or suggest to anyone.
Smell a bit like cats and shower taped up.....
Basement apartment . Reception not in the same building . So when u reach the property care to notice map on the door which will guide u to the reception .
Apartment size and location were spot on, facilities are great ie kitchen, living room and bathroom.
The parking wasn't ideal, still a thought to walk up that hill to get your car or if you go behind this apartment, there's an empty car park next to police station, it was free, no gates or permit needed so we parked there aswell
Excellent stay. Spacious and very confortable. Got a very nice deal with the price we payed. Loved it.
3rd floor with no lifts... But you can't have it all and we couldn't get the same deal on the 1st floor probably....
nice warm atmosphere courteous staff vicinity to the conference center.
WLAN is filtered with bizarre selection and slow. the alarm clock was broken and could not be set. Quite painful for my early morning departure. The cupboard in the kitchen right is not well fitted and looks like work in progress. The shower holder is broken, so the whole thing falls apart on touching it.
The train noise. Close to the railway lines.
- Location was good (one train ride away or 20 mins walk to centre). - Good facilities
- Property had old worn out decor (carpets fraid, old and cheap pine furniture). May look good in photos but in closer look not great. - Price paid was £730 for one week. Even during Edinburgh fringe this was too high for the standard of accommodation.

Lobby and stairs - don't remember information saying it had no lift which might be hard for older travellers. More like good student accommodation
Good position for tourism, clean and confortable
Quite noisy inside the buiding
I don't remember any information about the reception being in another building - it wasn't far but for me with a heavy luggage and twisted foot it was very uncomfortable.
Clean tidy room, everything worked ok. Probably what you would expect from a three star. A little old bot ok.
Had some trouble finding reception which was in another street, staff were helpful once we tracked them down though
Washer/dryer was very convenient. It was very quiet.
Having to check in at another location was a bother.
These serviced apartments are a great little find. I went for the one bedroom and it was extremely spacious and very well appointed. The kitchen had all the untensils I could need as well as a working freezer, washing machine and dishwasher! The bathroom was bigger than most hotel rooms and extremely clean. The service took rubbish everyday and kept the tea/coffee stocked. I stayed in the Morrison Street set but any of the flats are an ideal location near Haymarket with all the shops, restaurants and transport only a short walk away. Throughly recommended!
The WiFi is reliable but that is due to the fact that the firewall blocks video data streaming so no iPlayer or Skype with back home unless I use my 3G. I think this should be indicated when you book. It would be nice to be met at the accomodation instead of having to go to the central booking office.. but that is just a suggestion. Apart from that the stay was great!
Had to park car next to reception and then a long walk with luggage to apartment, window in lounge not safe, walls dirty in certain areas. Instructions poor on how to get to apartments.
Good reception on arrival, apartment provided all we needed.
Bed frame needs attention .
Location, seperate bed room, staff very helpfull and kind. You feel at home.
No coffee machine. This Is à must for us, we had to by one.
very close to the EICC for my Conference. staff very helpful. lots of nearby cafes, shops, restaurants, banks, taxis etc. walking distance to city centre. good value for money.
no lift ( they did warn me!). shower in bath - - very hazardous - no safety handles on the wall. worst thing was the noise level - -very close to a busy street and several pubs.
Good location (5 mins walk from Haymarket train station and the Airlink airport shuttle). Good facilities - well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board as well as the usual fridge, oven, microwave and kettle. Good heating and hot water. Very quiet (in the ground floor apt)
The WIFI blocks all VOIP calls e.g. Skype (and other high bandwidth sites like YouTube)
The location was perfect to walk from the train station an get the bus to the airport. We enjoyed making our meals in the fully stocked kitchen. We had two minor issues, and the staff took care of them immediately.
Carrying bags up the stairs.
The location was very convenient for my requirements: right by Haymarket tram and rail station and close to the city centre. The apartment was clean and well equipped for a one night stay. Room facing the rear was quiet, as requested.
The climb up 3 floors with heavy baggage was a challenge for a 63 year old. Staircase has been knocked about a bit with people struggling up and down with bags. The apartment was tiny and pokey, luckily I was only one person. The street is far from a salubrious location and the tenement building is a bit sad and drab.
Bed was comfortable.
The mouse that ran under the fridge was a bit off putting.
