The establishment is run as a family business and your hosts, Dave and Nell, will try their utmost to ensure that all guests have a comfortable stay.
Fountains is a Victorian building and that there are 2 flights of stairs to some rooms.
The home-cooked breakfasts are prepared to order by Nell and are made using fresh local produce whenever possible.
Whatever you have planned, the tasty full traditional English breakfast is a great way to start your day.

We had a marvellous stay at Fountains. The proprietors were extremely helpful & very friendly - good local knowledge and a fantastic veggie breakfast. We will seriously consider staying again. |

Particularly impressed by the location, cleanliness, quality of linen etc, breakfast was excellent. Very friendly and, for the price, the facilities were very good. Would stay there again whenever possible. |

The owner, Dave, was extremely kind during my stay. I would hardly recommend this hotel for people that wish to stay in a quite and familiar place, though close to the city center too (!) Everything was fine |

The location and friendly welcome The room G1 was not as depicted on the website. The bed was appauling, it was very very soft. The location of the room was on the ground floor so we heard people coming and going and also it was next to the breakfast room so a lie in wasn't forthcoming. |

The room was comfortable, and breakfast was of a very good quality. car parking is available and the town centre is easy to walk to. My room was to the side and was nice and quiet. |
